Gained 1lb this week :( but I know it's because I've eaten too much and not moved enough this week. If I can lose 4 lbs over the next 2 weeks I'll be back on track :) having Chinese tonight but that will be my only treat for the week I think. Don't want to be a fatty anymore!

Total for today 1850steps. That's so bad I finally realise why I gained so much weight since working from home. Well 2moro I WILL hit 10k :)

I know that feeling! Sometimes I find it impossible. but it does get easier the more you do it. And if you find you can't do it one day, just move it to another day and try again :)

That is what I love about this way of eating. When the world offers something irresistible we can indulge and just move the fast day. You're doing amazingly.

Don't be too disappointed. I know its frustrating to not see the scales move, but stick with it. Give it another 3 weeks and if you don't see a change then maybe its not for you, but I'm sure you will in that time. How are you finding it?

oh you are definitely going to beat me today! I work from home and got loads to do today so I'll be lucky to hit 2,000. I can see you're going to keep me active! I'll squeeze in a walk this evening and run up the stairs a few hundred times :)

yaye! I'm sure this will help us! Yesterday I was running on the spot to try and get the number up so there's no way it could be bad :) So, lets see what we can get up to and if we aren't reaching 10k steps then we can set targets and work our way up to it :)

Me too! I'll find absolutely any excuse to eat. I've realised that on Fast Days if I cut out breakfast then I save on those extra calories that I don't really want. Unless I go to the gym, in which case I need them! So I've tried that today and just had a satsuma and coffee and I'll wait until I'm properly hungry to eat…

Oops hit reply prematurely! I wouldn't say your non fast calories are too high. It is important to stick to the 500 calories on non fast days, but a few calories over shouldn't cause a gain. What exercise are you doing? You might be losing fat but gaining muscle. Have you got a bodyfat calculator to give you some idea of…

Argh I'm rubbish at this weeks goal. I stick to it and then totally forget! I'm going to set a reminder on my phone for the next 4 days and STICK TO IT! I love the treat idea so I will have to think of something suitable :)

that is one of the hardest things, such amazing progress!! I always struggle with this and the temptations of friends and family have been a large part of my weight gain. I need to learn to do this too! That couple minutes of pleasure while eating just aren't worth it when your jeans don't fit!!!

It is up to you and depends what feels the easiest. The studies show that leaving the longest amount of time without eating is the most effective. Well done for the zumba. I need to try that! I am definitely the same. just a taste of sugar and its all downhill. I'm hoping this weeks challenge will help me with that as I won't snack in the evenings (when it would go straight on as fat) hoping for a good loss at the weekend!!

Little Gem you're pretty much the same as me :) We can do this!!! As long as I'm at 185 by the end of the year I'll be happy. Oh to be under 200! Newlifestyle, I think if the scale repeatedly said you were 48% then I'd say you're fairly accurate :) Wish I had that type of scale

I would say it is probably okay as long as you don't do it more than twice a week and you're overall calories for the week don't work out as less than 1200cals on average. It sounds like you're getting a lot out of it and it is really helping you connect spiritually so just listen to your body and do what feels right :)

Well done everyone! Giving up coffee is so hard. I did it a couple weeks ago and was pretty ill with it but now I'm reducing my intake a lot more cause it makes me so dehydrated

Well done to everyone on completing the first week. I'm looking forward to week 2! I find that day after fasting I'm less hungry too. Maybe because my stomach has shrunk? Whatever the cause it really helps!
