Finish C25k ... and then do 5k in half an hour or less. By the end of April. I can do this!!

Today I set a new PR for deadlifting and did a pull up from standing. Soon I will be doing them from hanging. I am stronger every day!!

I drink a protein shake every morning or a serving of oatmeal if I am out of protein shakes.

It takes a bit if time and tinkering. One thing that helped me get started was initially not being super meticulous about food logging and let my natural desire to measure data and see results nudge me into getting a food scale and becoming more and more exact.

I started going to the gym regularly a year ago and at first it was just for weight loss but these days it is more for my mental health. Now when I am stationary too long I notice my mood becomes crummy.

Gym five days a week. Two days weights/HIIT, one day steady cardio, two days weights/HIIT. I change it up weekly though so I am not always doing so much HIIT.

I have found other people always have an opinion on what you consume and how you balance food and exercise. Screw it. Do what works for you. Talk to people here who will be supportive.

Everyone here has great contributions. I suffer with depression and have been fighting with food and exercise. Depression is a medical condition, a lot like hypertension. Like hypertension, depression can be treated with medications but requires lifestyle changes to manage as well.

Anything by Anabolic Frolic is a good bet! Techno in general is my music of choice. I am a huge fan of Daft Punk and ENomine as well as DJ liquid and others. Faithless is another good techno artist. Of course the Chemical Brothers and Crystal Methods are must-haves on my playlist. I like the Red Hot Chili Pepper's version…

Everybody has had such great thoughts! *E* was looking at the wrong person's profile when replying. :-P I also suffer from TBL Syndrome where 1.5 lbs seems like a pittance. My suggestion is to include a good strength training routine and get adequate calories. Muscle burns fat even when you aren't exercising. Also ...…

I find myself caught on the go a lot and have taken to keeping a box of special K bars in my car for those times I don't have time to stop for a proper snack. As others have suggested, keep a snack container or cooler so you are never stuck without snacks. I think the trick is to keep yourself from getting so hungry you…

I like a good slice of double fiber toast. 70 calories and very filling. Other suggestions include dried fruit and original beef jerky. Something with lots of fiber or protein to keep you feeling satisfied and a big glass of water.

Ossum enthusiasm! I am also trying to lose in the neighborhood of 100lbs! Gratz on taking the first steps!

It could be caffeine withdrawal but my first thought is that you're probably hungry/thirsty. How much water are you drinking a day and how is your eating going?

It looks like others have already suggested: Fiber and protein! I find that it's hard to get all my fiber so I take a supplement before breakfast to help me feel full longer. Good luck!!!

Today I set a personal best! 60 minutes on the elliptical with an estimated 816 calories burned! T00T!

I like to break the ice with fruit. Lately it's been bananas and yogurt. I have a hard time eating first thing in the morning too, so I find something light to kick-start the metabolism suits me best.

Hi! I joined on my android about a month ago and only recently started using the website. I have found it to be convenient and really helps me stay on track. Sending you a friend request, I could use some MFP buds too.
