I am wondering the same thing. I'm vegetarian and usually eat 2-3 pieces of fruit per day. Some days my sugar count goes over 100! Even if that's too much its the healthiest source of sugar and provides nutrients like fiber.

I too was affected by slaughter house videos and decided to try vegan about 8 months ago. Initially I was very strict and avoided anything that had eggs or milk in it.
