Hi I'm Fiona from Scotland. This challenge is a great idea. I will use it to get back into my walking routine which has lapsed a bit recently!

I couldn't have managed to lose weight so steadily without Fitbit. My main exercise is walking so I set my TDEE to sedentary, and then the fitbit calories get added on top of that when it syncs. Makes it really simple to eat at a consistent deficit. I think it's great. I didn't get much benefit from the sleep function…

We're the same height and about the same starting weight, I'm a bit older(!), and it looks like we do the about the same amount of exercise. I've been on 1300 to 1400 a day plus exercise calories eaten back for a few months now, and it's working well. Even if you have a small frame I don't believe 1200 is really enough for…

I haven't found any foods that make a difference for better or worse. Though I have seen research that alfalfa is bad. I certainly put on a few pounds which in my case I believe were down to being less active (I could only walk slowly and rather painfully) rather than the meds. Exercise is good for lupus, but you need to…

I eat 1300-1400 plus exercise calories and have been steadily losing about 1 lb a week. BMI now 24.1. Started at MFP's 1200 but felt that was too low so upped it after a couple of weeks.

If it's the chunks he doesn't like, you could try whizzing them up in a nut/spice grinder e.g. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Powerful-Coffee-Grinder-Andrew-James/dp/B005TFQVY0/ref=pd_sim_sbs_kh_4 .

My easy breakfast - 30g rolled oats, 1 whole grated apple, a few raisins, and 100ml semiskimmed milk all mixed together. Delicious, filling and about 240 calories.
