I agree. This one is really good.

I love reading NSV stories like this. Congrats on flexing your willpower muscle.

You don't say where you workout. I know when my kids were little, they used to love going to the playroom in the gym while I worked out. They used to beg to go instead of just staying home. That eased my guilt a lot.

I quit 7 years ago and it was the best decision I have ever made. It was hard at first but now I don't even crave them. I can be around people that smoke and I am ok. My lung capacity is so much better. Good luck!

Since I am at work, I can't get the list but from the ones I see listed on other peoples answers, I have read the Twilight Saga, Harry Potter series, Diary of Anne Frank, Gone with the Wind, The DaVinci Code. Not sure what other ones are listed.

Never thought of it that way but so very true.

I really didn't start to gain weight until I discovered the fun of going out with friends and drinking alcohol. Alcohol alone is enough to add calories (and fat) to your frame, but then you add the fried bar food you can't resist and its just way too much. Its hard to make healthy choices when you are drinking and all your…

For me it was 12 lbs but that was combined with cardio/strength training 5-6 times a week.

The highest I have seen so far is 335.

I wear Divine by Victoria's Secret. Its a body mist so its not that heavy.

From everything I have read, when they weigh in and tell you its been a week, its usually longer than that time frame. Anything for entertainment!

Eating more, upping my protein, and exercising more.

I have found it easier to log all my food in the morning therefore I can tweek it during the day, especially if I see I need more protein or some plans for dinner have changed. Its nice to see it all in black and white.

I am on here everyday and I try and comment on everyones post. I just changed my goals up to reflect the TDEE method so I won't logging my exercise but I exercise between 3-5 times a week. Feel free to add me!

I have struggled with the whole eat more to lose weight, but I am seeing the light now. I am striving to eat all my calories a day and when I exercise, I try to eat at least 90% of my calories back. It is sometimes tough to break the midset of you have to starve yourself to lose, but when you don't see results, you get…

I am right there with you. I started in November and have only lost 12 lbs according to the scale. I have gone down a size in clothes though so I would have to say I have lost inches. Keep up the great work and I am sure everything else will follow.

Isn't it great when people really start noticing. Congrats!

Thank you for the great post. I too am discouraged at times because the scale is barely moving. The differences in my body are huge though thanks to exercise. I see the differences in the mirror and that has made me very happy. I wish you continued success!
