When I hit the 50 lb mark I went to the grocery store and took a photo of me holding 5 10lb bags of potatoes. It was amazing to think I was carrying around that extra weight daily just a few months ago.

With holiday parties coming up and wine most likely being sered here is a tip: grab that wine glass and ask for ice water and pull out a crystal light packet, add to glass and have a little treat without the calories.

Thank you! And congrats to you too! I am 2 away from my goal of 60. I am still amazed how this program has transformed my life and outlook. Although my mind is still catching up with my smaller size. I started as a size 16 in March and last month purchased a size 6 pair of jeans. Last week, in going through Halloween…

You can do this. Make it work for you as this is your life. Why not incorporate a few of the suggested snack ideas from Dr. A's book? Here is a link to the pages http://www.drwayneandersen.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/Dr.-As-Sample-Fueling-Breaks-Pages-120-121.pdf You mentioned you only like the bars and shakes…

Thanks for sharing this! My approach to the program was similar. After trying the Medifast pancakes, oatmeal and eggs I found it was just not working for me. So I made the plan my own...I eat one of the two breakfasts everyday ( 1 egg and 1 egg white, two slices of whole grain reduced calorie bread or 1/2 cup of oatmeal…

My summer/fall workout routing included Jazzercise one day, jog the next and take every third day off. With the shorter days jogging has been harder to do. I have not worked out a winter routine yet.

I totally understand. I have been trying for the past few years to get to a healthy weight but nothing seemed to be working for me. I actually gained weight on one weight loss program I started Medifast last month and finally the scale is moving down. I have lost 15lbs. It works for me because I do not have to think about…

Have you spoken with the Medifast support team(specifically the nutritionist)?

I like shrimp stir fry with zucchini, mushrooms and green beans. Love the frozen green beans at Trader Joe's. Saute with olive oil and season with red pepper flakes for a little kick. Quick and easy.

Have not tried it yet. I am not a big fan of mac and cheese so it is last on the list of things to try.

Just completed my first week. Down 6 lbs! The first three days of the program were hard. I felt really bad, had headaches. But on day 4 it was much better and day 5 I felt great. I am loving the convenience of the meals during my work week.

Treat your mental heath emergency like you would a heart attack. Go to the emergency room and let them know you need safe place to be and get your bearings. There are people that care and can help you.
