I am so excited about all the help from you all :blushing: I have been dying to get to my computer to see if there were any ideas. My plan 1. Eat Rice cakes with peanut butter 2. Look for betternpeanut butter and the flour peanut butter for "high need days" and thick sandwiches. 3. Look for naturals I also found…

I just found a tip online that said to add defatted peanut flour to your peanut butter.. This flour has 196 calories per cup. Has anyone tried this?

Does anyone know how to make peanut butter less fattening? It is my challenge. I wish I could eat it without using up all my calorites :brokenheart:

I am glad I found this tonight. I was feeling a bit discouraged. I think that staying with it is what counts. It is easy to get caught up in the magical thinking and the diet commercial promises. What seems most frustrating is it can be so hard to lose the weight and so easy to gain it. It is disheartening. It is then that…

I have an 8 year old and a 10 year old,,we write the week's meals out on Thursday night...that is when the negotiating takes place. Then my husband shops on Friday. This way, I refer to our list of meals and check the night before and then...they eat. Took me a while to figure this out. Was in your shoes last…

This is so very helpful !

When I first started I gained a bit too. I don't know why?? But now after 3 weeks I am losing. I think if you had long fasting periods and then start eating right..your body needs time to adjust

Is okay.....it happens. Maybe go for a walk and walk a bit of it off. and it will reduce your stress about it. Tomorrow is a new day:flowerforyou:

this may help... "I know you are struggling with this. I am worried that in that struggle you'll get hurt. I love you so much. Do what you need to do, but know I am here when or if you need me" and then just love her and keep checking in every so often... I believe that supported people make the best decisions.

me too...I hate it. Sometimes it helps if I focus my effort on to a toe-push...and later a heal push

This is so good. I have given up after phase 1 ...so MANY TIMES....I am going to save this to help me remember

So I had one good day and then last night was not good. Every time I got up (three times) I thought, "I need a peanut butter and jam sandwich...that would really help me sleep ":noway: So i woke up and felt uhg!!!! So now I have (with a workout and stretching), 100 calories left for the day. I am going to have soup…
-
That is the thing...thinking that if I eat, I can sleep.....I am working ion shifting my thinking to...I need to hydrate..then I can sleep... The whole thing really gets your metabolism off if you get into a "habit" I am so glad you don't have a problem with it..

I am working to stop night eating. I did not eat last night the 4 times I woke up but it paid off ...I got to actually eat breakfast this morning and I feel good. If anyone one else wants to work on night eating let me know! I am going to try again tonight :flowerforyou:

Thank you so much for the support and ideas. I have been struggling with this for years...more than a habit I think. Is a way I function. I really want to change. I will try the cereal/yogurt, and strawberries with fiber ideas...and keeping something by my bed. It is nice to feel like people know and are caring if you do…

Has anyone been successful at stopping night eating? That is when you go to bed and wake up and eat a sandwich or something to help you go back to sleep? Sometimes it can use up all of your calories before you get up in the AM.... Any ideas or things that have helped?
