Hello :)
-
I could be interested, could you give some more details please, if you still have it ha-ha :)

Heya guys, I'm in Auckland, finally had some sunny weather last weekend, and today wanst to bad either. How are you all doing?
-
I only buy the small size pots as I simply cannot eat only 1 serving of it, I will eat the whole damn thing! I normally make it fit within my daily calories but I try not to buy it to often to make it easier to resist.

Always happy to support more friends :)

I have recently joined a gym, though I hate working out in public, I found the recptionist/class instructor really motivating so I decided to give it a try. I have figured out when the slow times are and that is when I go in, pop my earbuds in and crank up my own music and do my own thing. Once every couple of weeks I meet…

that sounds very yummy, will have to try and make it sometime!
-
those do sounds yummy Thank you :) Will have to research what bulgogi is though ;)

I'm afraid that I will not be of much help here, I myself have recovered from an injury which prevented me from working out and resulted in me giving up completely, and gaining more weight then what I have lost. All I can say is that it isnot easy to find back your motivation, harder for some then others. But think about…

I have struggled with this for many years, and still do. I had an eating disorder a few years back and stubbornly refused to get professional help, it took me years to get out of it, and I still don't think I am fully there. But I have found a way to at least make my binging less bad. For example today I really wanted to…

Thanks heaps for your comments guys, I must admit I never read the acctual book and did not know there were differences from what the media says it is. Will have to get it and have a good read before I make a decision.

I have gone through the same thing, have left and come back several times. It is oke to take a break when you know you need it, but at the same time I found that this place can help me through things as well which it why I always come back again haha. You have to do what feels right for you.

Great to hear :) We are trying to get some more interest first and then we can plan our first meet, would love to hear your ideas :)

I would suggest to stop weighing yourself for a little while, fluctuations are normal but can be discouraging. I would suggest setting yourself a new goal: 6 days a week you will stick to your calories + 5 days a week 1 hour excersise, and then after 7 full days you can weigh yourself again. You can choose al kinds of mini…

I am not going to tell you what to do, I have a similar issue and have been battling my eating disorder since I was 15. I havent beaten it but I have accepted it is part of who I am now and without having gone through it I would not be who I am today. I am fighting every day not to give into my urges, and that is really…

haha that will be fun then; a bunch of scared people climbing rocks ;) Sorry I havent posted in a while, been in a bad place in my head and just had to kick my *kitten* into gear again. But I am back now and will try be more active ;)

I have become addicted to cruskits with Philadelphia cream cheese, 6 of those for less then 200 cals so it does the trick for me. You can add things like tuna or cucumber or anything you want. Great thing is that is is low in carbs and sodium, and of course sugar. I eat it all the time and hardly touch bread anymore so it…

I never tried climbing, and a bit of fear of heights, but keen to try if the whole group will do it haha. I'm not worried about a name yet until we get more members. I was thinking swimming could be fun, hiking for sure, maybe even paintball or something? How can we recruit more members?

Thanks guys, glad to see there is some interest out there :) Would love to discuss some ideas for outings while waiting for more people to join. I am thinking we should have at least 5 people coming before we meet up. So what would you guys be interested in doing?
-
Thanks:) Unfortunately no one seems interested :(
-
Thanks I was thinking along those lines. Normally when I do 30 minutes of running on the cross trainer I burn 250 cals so I thought this would be similar.
-
I am more into my cardio then my strength training, but trying to balance both. I have across trainer, 2 different weight sets and a yoga matt, and my newly bought Zumba dvd set :) I would definitely not say that this is enough but it is a good start while you are saving up for more. Going to the gym gives you a good…

Thanks, will keep this in mind for when I have a party coming up maybe ;)
-
Lol I love this idea, but dont think I will follow this as I hate dry wine ;) But definitely going to increase my water intake for a few days to 10 glasses a day and see what happens.
-
that is the idea: just need some motivation again to know that what I have been doing the past few weeks is working but my increased activity requires more water intake which I have always been slacking in. Thanks for the advise Mike :)
-
I hardly ever get that much sleep on a regular basis. Definitly trying the other stuff though, sodium is hard because most things dont have an accurate calculation on MFP but trying to keep it low as possible.
-
Thanks Mike, definitely in it for the long haul but just got frustrated because I seem to be gaining weight instead of losing it while I have been doing really well the last few weeks (ignore yesterday haha) So you think one cardio session would do it? would a 30 minute run on the crosstrainer be effective?
-
I know how you feel, it is discouraging to put back on the weight you lose. The only way to really succeed is to ditch the diets and change your lifestyle to become one you can continue for ever. I myself am learning how to do this and am making small changes every at a time, I still have the 'bad' foods but try to make…

Personally I dont believe in doing a cleanse, its just a marketing trick, but if you are wanting to try then I hope it works for you. Veggies can be very dull and boring as some dont have much flavour to begin with, but depending on how you prepare them they can become amazing. My partner loves pizza, he's a skinny *****…
