My midwife gave me permission to lose during pregnancy. If it doesn't happen like I want it to thats ok. I know baby comes first. My prenatal has 400mcg folic acid. Should be good enough for neuro tube development

Thanks for the good tips! I had a great appointment with my midwife today. She said that is is safe to lose weight and encouraged me to do so. She even set me up with a nutritionist in her office to help me make sure baby gets what it needs. She really wants me to focus on protein. She said my plan for 1600 calories first…

I love walking and am definitely planning on staying active. I get tension headaches and migraines. Walking really helps to decrease muscle tension and pain.

I have my first OB appointment tomorrow and had already planned on talking about it. I wont do anything unsafe and unhealthy. I was just curious about others experiences. :)

You can be! Just keep focused on the goal. Make mini goals and remember them when it's hard to keep goin. And celebrate the little achievements. One of my motivators is my driver's license. I hate having to show ID because I don't like the pic. I haven't changed it though because it motivates me to do better. :)

Probably 8-10. I am a curvy girl and I want to keep it that way! I would love to be healthy, have a flat stomach, but keep my curves. :smile:

I've really liked Zoi and Chobani yogurts. The fruit on the bottom ones are the best! My favorites are blueberry cream, peach, and pineapple! Greek yogurts are usually fat free and have lots of protein in them. :smile:

I have a weird schedule so that's why I skip lunch. Classes start at 1pm and go till five and I am a graveyard CNA so I usually am sleeping past breakfast so I have about a 500 calorie late breakfast before I leave, 500 cal dinner. and a few low cal snacks inbetween. I think I am getting enough calories....around 1300-1450…

Actually, you are supposed to have 64 oz of water a day. It's reccomended to have at least 8, 8oz glasses of water per day. :)

Yep, I know how you feel. I have also been doing everything right. and the scale hasnt budged in 2 weeks. I love that you put your scale in the freezer. LOL. I should probably do the same.

I think most of us on here have bad days once in a while. Yesterday I was way stressed and had ice cream for lunch....I felt bad about it, I just keep telling myself to keep goin. When I first started the shot I gained some weight because of a change in my appitite. But since I started logging, I am able to control the appitite increase and I have 40 pounds while on it. I think it differs per person though.

When I exercise I only eat part of my exercise calories back. I don't think we need to eat all of them back, if we did what would be the point of exercising to burn calories? It would just defeat the whole purpose of exercising.

I don't usually eat fast food, but there are other things I indulge in. For me, I always stay in the green. I eat healthy, but I do indulge....I mean for me, If I take away everything I liked before, what I'm doing now will not stick. So far I've lost 25 pounds and I'm still going strong. I think it just depends on you.…
