Oooh... maybe! I live right over the bridge in south Jersey. I might get involved if my schedule permits.

Welcome back! Don't be too hard on yourself. Fitness is a process. I've added you. Best of luck!

You look amazing! Great job, and fantastic story. Very inspirational!

Me! Meeeee! Ad me. :) We should start a group.

The worst I've ever heard of was a little girl whose leagal name was "Talula Does the Hula From Hawaii". True story. A judge had to get involved because she was so embarrased about it. http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2008/jul/24/familyandrelationships.newzealand

Wow! Great progress. You look fantastic.

I use 4 lbs, but what you have is fine. Go ahead and get started, and upgrade if and when you need to.

Way! Way to commit! Good for you. Continued success.

I hate you, but it's not you. It's me.

Lift weights to lose weight and reshape your body.

Eat light all day, enjoy your buffet, log the calories and move on. Simple.

Nope! I eat at least 1750 calories a day. You CAN eat AND lose.

I have the same problem. I never get even close. I'm a strange sort of psuedo-vegetarian. I stopped eating meat as a little girl because it grossed me out, but I can occasionally stomach a little lean ground beef (maybe once a week). I will also do chicken broth in soup or cooked in rice. But I don't like eggs, cheese,…

Why not just eat a sensible breakfast and a sensible lunch along with that sensible dinner? You can do totally rock this weight loss without using a crutch or gimmick. I believe in you. If you think you just need the structure of a system that you can just plug yourself into, spend the next 30 days doing the Jillian…

So what are you going to do? Just lie down and die? Life and time will continue to march on regardless, so 4 weeks from now, would you rather be happier and healthier, or stuck right where you are?
-
Just added you!

It's very popular here in the Philadelphia area! One of our local rock station morning talk shows, Preston and Steve on WMMR, promotes the heck out of it. I, unfortunaltely am a vegetarian and cannot partake. :ohwell:

It's typical to see a weight increase when you begin weight training. Your body holds fluid around the stressed muscle to repair and rebuild it. That's a good thing! My advice is to cut your cardio back to 2-3 days and make your priority 3 days of good weight training. Employ your tape measure and track your progress that…

Wow! How rewarding!

I saw this on Dr. Oz once.

Interesting! I could totally do a veggie version.

Trust your instincts. I fear you are correct. Hopefully he'll stop dragging you down you with his own self estemm issues, and instead use your success as motivation to boost himself up to living a healthier lifestyle. If he's comfortable with his current body, that's one thing, but it sounds like he isn't.

Big difference! Silly husband...

Are you logging everything, even the overindulgences? If not, do so. Seeing the math there in black and white will eventually help to kick you out of your tailspin. Just writing off the day as "lost" and not tracking is the exact wrong thing to do. It's okay to occasionally slip. You didn't get overweight overnight, and…

Here's a great, comprehensive review from Amazon: I got this video today and couldn't wait to try it out! Workout 1 is 45 min, Workout 2 is 50 min (including warm-up and cool down). Unlike her previous workouts, there is a single, long circuit repeated twice. The moves are basically the same as her previous dvds, but with…
