Feel free to add me, or anyone else that's looking for friends. I still have around 40 pounds to go but started out with 118 to lose. Like to think I've learned a few things on the way. Still a slow process but all in all I'm happy with how things are going. You can do this, I promise. Won't necessarily be easy, but once…

Haven't read these in several days, they are all so good! Way to go everyone :)
-
That's huge, don't know that I could do that, two of my favs in one.
-
WOW...congrats!!
-
Wow, that's a big change, you look great!

I fit my "not as fat as it used to be" butt into a size 12 jeans. There's a little muffin top, but I didn't have to lay down on a bed to zip them. Super cute, and from Goodwill for only $1.99. Haven't worn this size in probably 10 years at least, and I'm a good 20 pounds heavier than I was then...goes to show how…

That's an amazing difference! Congrats!! :)

I can do push ups! Woot woot! Didn't even realize I could until I was messing around after planking...so excited, it's been so long since I had that kind of strength! What about you?

Hubby told me I was getting boney last night...and he can wrap his arms around me more than he can remember in a long time. One of my goals is to get to where he can pick me up...so those comments from DH were great but I don't want him to break his back yet. He's made nice comments all along...now if only he would work…

Me too! :drinker:

Feel free to add me. Stats are below age: 44 SW 258 CW 183 GW 140 (to be determined when I get there really) Height 5'5" Thanks!

I know there must be some more awesome NSVs out there. Let's hear it! Time to brag and show how all your hard work is paying off. So much encouragement here, and nothing is too small!
-
Bumping to read some more awesome NSV's!! Love it! Mine would be buying a pair of skinny jeans in a jr size and my daughter saying I should get them because they made me look slim. What about you?

I agree with the other poster...it's total caloric intake that matters, not time of day you took it in. A 1 lb weight loss is really good. It's not linear, would love it if it was. I have had weeks with no loss and then within a week lose 3-4 lbs. I would definitely find the time/money for a food scale though. Accuracy is…

These are all so good. Wish there was a "like" button for posts! I realized today that I no longer have back rolls. Still have back fat but when I sit, there are not any actual rolls. I remember how I hated feeling those rolls when I was sitting. They were so uncomfortable. So glad to have those gone! What about…

I was there when I first started, too. I was running on an indoor track at my Y that goes above our pool, with windows around part of it, so there's the other runners AND the swimmers that see you. I could see my reflection, too. I struggled with that but I also knew that if I didn't do it, I was hurting myself. So, I…

That's awesome! What a transformation...congrats! Can't wait to say the same!

I usually have cottage cheese and fruit. I eat at 7am and usually takes care of me until lunch around 12...although I'm definitely hungry when it's time for lunch.

You're only 24, your skin will recover. I would just give it time. I've lost over 70 as well, and do have loose skin but I'm not finished and I'm 44, so I think I'll have more trouble than you will. Are you strength training? That should help as well.
-
Congratulations...you look great! Onederland is a wonderful feeling for sure! Keep going, you'll reach your goal in no time!
-
That's awesome! We have that machine at my Y, it's a killer. I can't do 10 minutes on it yet.
-
I ran 3.2 miles today at 10:17 minute miles. Not where I want to be, but I'm working on it. Like someone else said, don't compare yourself to others. I started out around 15 min miles. I run off and on, have been biking a lot more than running and still have 40 lbs to take off. Just keep plugging away, you'll get faster in…

Saw someone I haven't seen for over 6 months...she told me I look 20 years younger and my face was beautiful. Now, I can ok Bly take so much of what she says with a grain of salt because she's a bit of a suck up but I'll still take it. Someone else said I was looking more and more like my daughter...which we've been told…

Thank you so much! No changes so far, but I'll keep you all updated. Keep praying!!

I ride the Expresso bike at the Y sometimes. It's been a while since I've been riding outside but did one this week and it happened to be a ride I did back in April, just a 4 mile and I realized I did it 4 minutes and 35 seconds faster. Since my weight loss has stalled pretty much recently, it's nice to see other ways in…

Fit into a size 14 American Eagle jeans...started at a tight 22, so that excites me. Still have a way to go, but I haven't been in a 14 in a long time...so I'm feeling good!
-
So, what else do you have? Some one must have something...let's hear it and celebrate it! :drinker:
-
I'm motivated by my daughter's graduation next May. This is what got me started. But there's so many other things now, too. Actually wanting to be in pictures again, being able to bike faster than my teens, not snoring at night, buying size L clothes (sometimes even M in tops now), feeling confident again, not like I want…

I agree with an earlier poster about doing walking/running intervals. If that works for you then why "jog" and interval training is supposed to burn more calories anyway. Try 2 minutes walking with 1 minute running and do this for 20 minutes or as along as you can. And make sure you stretch after doing some walking to warm…

I have coffee every day, 2-3 cups of it. I put sugar free french vanilla creamer in mine. I'm sure it's not the healthiest stuff in the world, but it's how I like it. I see no reason to cut it out. I've had success losing weight while feeding my caffeine addiction.
