I don't eat roasted veggies b/c our oven is really undependable but I have learned to like cut up baby carrots & celery to put in salads.I also have a snack of baby carrots and 1 tbsp of a ranch greek yogurt dip.1 tbsp is only 30 cal.

I have IBS-C. Does anyone know what kind of foods that would be good for that instead of fiber and I don't want to eat a lot of carbs.

The most mg for sodium in any diet should be no more than 2300 mg.Every once in a while I go over but most of the time I stay between 2000-2300 mg.

I had high cholesterol and triglicerides for years until I cut down on red meat for cholesterol and cut down on carbs for tri t.

I'm always over on protein and fiber but usually low on fats.

My daily goal is 1420 calories not counting exercise. Today I will probably end up around 1160 calories & I do not eat my activity calories. The reason my calorie total is lower normally because I'm also watching my carb grams.

Metformin has never helped me lose weight. I was put on it several years ago because I have diabetes type 2.It has definitely helped my diabetes.About 3 years ago my A1C test was 7.6 which is really high.Last month my A1C was down to 5.8 which is really considered pre diabetic.
