That is awesome!! I haven't tried one, but they look really hard, but a lot of fun. Great job!

running is very relative. start with a slow jog. No need to sprint a 5k. The more you run, the faster you will get. But to start, start nice and slow. I think alot of people hear "run" and try to go as fast as they can. You can't keep that pace up if you are a beginner. Just go at a nice even pace and you will be fine.

Scarlettgeorg, I it and I totally agree with LorinaLynn. If it feels really hard one day, just slow down a bit. You can always repeat a week if you feel like you need extra time. This program will help you get more in tune with your own body. There will be days that you have to walk or slow down, and that is ok. Just keep…

:drinker: Love this! Great reminder!

I run a lot and have varying degrees of jog bras. The ones that aren't as supportive, I augment with another bra. (I wish I could just go out and buy a bunch of them, but the good ones are really expensive. so I am slowly replacing the less supportive ones.) I find the double bra method works just fine. Good luck!

Or knock a dent into the cap with the dull side of a knife to break the air tight seal. Then you can open it right up. Did that when I had no muscles and no strength all the time. Things are much better now, but I can still open a jar of pickles. One of my strongest assets.

That is awesome! Good luck!!

That is a great achievement!

Yes it will!!

What is "good" is such a personal thing. Last year, I ran a 5K in 36 mins. For me, that was awesome, because I finished without walking. This year, same race, I ran it in 29:29. Again, awesome (for me) because my goal was to break 30 mins. That equates to a 10:00 ish mile pace. I will continue to get faster because I…

^^ This! and If they make a big deal about it, the appropriate response is "And this is your business because........?"

:flowerforyou: I would go and see how you feel. When I started running, I would wait between days to run. But now I am comfortable running every day. I will even run twice in one day if a friend wants a partner. I just try to listen to my body and slow down if I need to. There are alot of "rules" but the one I think is the…

Yes, I lost 60 lbs doing that. And now I am struggling to lose the last 20lb. I have been on a plateau for about 4 months. I realized if I want to reach my goal and go all the way to a healthy body and mind, I have to start cleaning up what I eat. I have started slowly by adding more fruits and veggies and less fried and…

I don't know about you, but If a cruise is this much effort, I think I'll stay on dry land. What ever it is we are on, it is such an individual thing. I think your attitude has served you well. What ever it is you are on, you have done a great job!:drinker:

Take it one choice at a time. Remember all those things that got you motivated in the first place and focus on one thing today. Add something tomorrow. You can do it!

I'm in, but will have to report start weight this afternoon. (I'll weigh in at lunch).

I totally agree! Holly send the absolutely wrong message about weight loss and fitness, in my opinion. But it isn't that different of a message then the "be bikini ready in 30 days" articles that they include either. Yes, so of the exercises are interesting and I can incorporate them in my own workout, but the message is…

:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: I had that same problem. it led to a lot of yo-yoing over the years. I have since changed my focus to one choice at a time. If I really think through each choice I have everyday, even if I fail to make the right one, I refuse to let that one choice lead to 10 bad ones. just…

Thanks! I have not read the Hunger Games yet, but my 15 year old daughter started them 2 weeks ago and has really gotten hooked. She is not the biggest reader, so I was really happy to see this. I'll tell her about this one!!

What an example you are setting for those boys! it is truly amazing the power of a 30 minute walk!!! Good luck on the Marathon. :drinker: :drinker:

Very impressive! I would have passed out after 40.

Yeah, I don't like mountain climbers either. :grumble: But I remind myself that if I don't like them, its probably because they challenge me and challenging myself is a good thing.

I say if you reach for the stars and fail, you can still grab the moon. Great job so far, and as long as you are working with a doctor and making healthy choices, good for you. Just remember that weight loss hardly ever a straight road, so don't get discouraged if you hit a bump. I like your positive attitude!! That is the…

I have also heard them called "squat thrusts." That makes me giggle a bit when I hear it. One of my recent NSVs was to be able to do 20 good Burpees in a row. I have a love/hate relationship with them. Enjoy!:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:

I am with you!! If I want it, I eat it. Nothing is off limits. But I track everything. I have tried to give up things in the past and they be come the one thing that I crave. this approach has worked best for me.
