I use the power rack with the bars just under where I need the bar to go on my chest. Something about lifting 100+ lbs over my head scares me. Also I feel like cleaning from the floor affects the workout I am actually trying to do. I want the best bang for my buck so I don't clean.

Been thinking about just relaxation/stretching yoga... I think normal yoga may be too much.

Kinda clueless on this one LOL. My main priority is my hamstrings they are always so tight these days with the heavy squats. Are you able to get them well with that one. Or should I more be looking at one I should be rolling around on. Really dont know. Price doesnt matter too much just want it to work lol.

Yea I was under 3500 calories for the past 2 days and feeling it. Had to get some thing in my body to make up for it. So I pigged out right after my workout. That said I have a really hard time eating as much as I need to healthily. Sometimes being 6'0 and 220 lbs has its advantages and sometimes it's a real pain in the…

100% agree.

Yea I am squatting my body weight now and let me tell you I need the full two days to recover. They still feel tight when I am squatting usually even after warm up sets. You HAVE to do warm up sets or you will hurt yourself later on. So just get in the habit of doing them early. For Warmups last night for deadlifts I did.…

This. You will feel like you can in the beginning. But after you get into the program and start lifting about 85 % of your max weight you will need all that time to recover. The weightlifting will become just as intense as insanity or even more so as you get heavier weights. I think you'll find that you'll end up in the…

Do you have access to dumbbells? They would be a better option than using the smith machine. The smith machine just restricts movement too much and causes you to not to have to use stabilizing muscles. As well as not allowing your body to move the way it should through some of the lifts. Dumbbells can replace a lot of the…

Sorry just hard to tell with no profile pic. Doesn't change anything though. Same thing applies for women.

I mostly agree with you. But even at a deficit he will see strength gains especially since both programs have you start out low. You dont have to gain muscle mass to get stronger. I have already doubled my bench in 3 months and I've been eating at a 500 calorie deficit. Yea will I see less gains at 90-100% of 1rm sure. But…

I personally do strongliifts and have been for the past 13 weeks. For about the first month and a half to 2 months doing cardio on off days was fine. Now I don't even think about it. It just leaves my legs too dead to squat. It's all going to depend on what your goals are though. If you like the cardio then do it. However…

I don't watch sodium. But I just ate over 3000 calories at Jack in the box. So I guess that kinda goes without saying. Only things I track are calories and protein

I squat, OHP, Barbell row and deadlift in the rack. Depending on how busy it is I'll do the rows outside of the rack. OHP I just feel like I need the safety bars and I don't really want to clean it from the floor either. Deadlift I'm getting close to 300 lbs so really don't feel like carrying all that weight across half…

Usually when I wake up like this it's because I had some kind of muscle cramp int he middle of the night. My neck tends to do that a lot for some reason. I would put a hot compress on it and keep stretching it and just watch the way it feels. Should feel better by the end of the day.

This is like nails on the chalkboard to me. Also, when people AXE you a question.

This. Don't just start eating a bunch more immediately. And yea 1200 calories is much too low to live off of.
-
You need to up it. At 120 pounds you can't have much to lose. tdee - 10% would be more realistic. Close to goail weight it is really hard to lose weight so you have to be really on point with your calorie counting. Basically weighing and measuring everything.
-
So you're overeating and not moving. And you're complaining that you are a snowflake and can't lose weight. Seems about right.
