This sounds like a much better idea. and a safer one.

Yea seemed like a pretty big gimmicky purchase to me when I first looked at it.... Then I looked at the price. No way would I spend almost 500$ on that thing. :noway: There's much better things you could spend your money on and get better results like a squat rack or gym membership... Or even just put in a ballet bar.

Do you have 2 tables that you can push somewhat together and then get under? Might be an option. You can use DBs and do goblet squats instead but if you can do BB squats it would probably be better off in the long run. Maybe some of the women can maybe advise hack squats.( I dont know anything about them so someone with…

It's actually pretty common that people scrape their legs doing deadlifts. A lot of competitions require competitors to wear knee high socks so they dont end up scraping and then bleeding on the bar. As for this exercise I dont know enough about it to comment sorry.

I don't think it's in the best interest of anyone here to continue this so just going to drop it now. No disrespect was meant to anyone and sorry if any has been caused.

Always mad bra, Just saying it's just as inconsiderate to sit there and stare as it is to take up the rack for things like you said doing other sets while you're hogging up the rack. If you want to be polite ask how many sets they need to still do and if its more than just a couple ask them to grab you when they're done.…

Just no. :noway:

Only problem I have with that video was that roll of shame was made way too easy because his arms weren't dead tired from doing reps. Anytime ive had to do this Ive actually had to roll it down my body and not lift it down. Other than a key area that no matter how dead my arms are I'm not letting that bar roll over. Only…

Use strength training under cardio section. Its not very accurate tho

I offer to let people work in. But otherwise if you wanna wait and stare go ahead I'm not rushing for anyone. I need my rest inbetween sets. Had people do that I don't really care that they get mad when I take my 5 mins between OHP sets. I can't get through em otherwise so meh

Jealous taso, ill get there one day. Well hopefully further because I have like 60 lbs on you Squat 230 5x5 Body weight 220

When you do switch you need to take a bunch of weight of because by using the smith machine you're not exercising a lot of muscles that you would be with free weights. Trying to lift what you're doing now straight into free weights would be too much and possibly get you hurt. I would ditch the smith machine and start…

I burned 650 - 700 in an hour according to my body bugg. I am also 6'0 220 lbs so you would have to factor that in. But yea spinning is a great way to burn calories.

Personally I think your body is craving more protein on those days than other days due to the lifting rather than just a number of calories. So you might just want to try upping your protein intake. I also eat the same on off days as lift days mainly because even on off days my body is trying to repair itself. I've always…

A lot of starting stronglifts has to do with flexibility especially when squatting. You may want to try stretching more and maybe even look into doing some yoga style moves for your legs. Also if you were pretty sore from the last time which will affect how flexible you are. So just give it some time and maybe just do some…

Been looking into one of these in phoenix haven't really found one that's right for me yet. Also I kinds want to be lifting more before I go. So Ill probably give it another 6 months or so.
-
You can do them if you want. But they probably wont be as effective because they dont engage your lower body and core in the same way. But that said if you dont like them dont do them. Exercises that you enjoy will keep you coming back to the gym. Not if youre going dreading something.

Thanks for everyone's input. What I think I am going to do is deload by 60 % this week and then next week goto a 10% deload. Then the week after that go back to full workload. The reason I'm gonna do the 10% deload is that I;ve already had 3 days off and taking another week which I want to do to focus on form a bit. So…

Since youre in phoenix its probably a bit more expensive but worth it on the childcare side is Lifetime. Tho the one in scottsdale can get a little crowded. I used to go there but it just got too expensive for me. I work out at the 24 hour fitness in scottsfdale near keirland and its basically just a room with some toys…

Im 6'0 220 and eating 2800 - 3000 calories a day and dropping BF% Scale doesnt say as much but I think thats because I am retaining LBM. In 3 months lost 13 lbs and 7% BF
-
I'm not failing sets but my legs just feel dead when I goto squat or deadlift.

It seems like from these articles that theyre doing 50- 60% of their working weight for a week then go back at it 100% the next week correct? I guess I may be thinking about this wrong. I was thinking as a deload as taking a week and 20% off then restarting linear progression from there. Which would take me a long time to…
