This is an interesting thought. But I'm wondering if 20% is too much since I am a guy and that would be a ton of weight taken off at least for the dead lift and squat. So wondering what you ladies think. 10% Squat - 230 to 200 Deadlift - 285 to 255 OHP - 100 to 90 Row - 155 to 140 Bench- 140 to 140 (not decreasing bench…

Well, I have officially decided to take a rest week. After taking an extra day off yesterday I thought I would be ready to go. I could barely get out of bed I was so tired. So I think my body needs the rest going to deload 10% on everything but the bench press. Bench really hasn't gotten challenging yet for me. Hopefully…

Squats definitely I like. Deadlift would be second I think. Deadlifts are getting really heavy at this point and I feel like a badass but at the same time theyre really hard when you start getting close to your max. Or at least I think I'm getting there. I keep surprising myself when I can finish those 5 reps each week. Ok…

Follow the program and add the 5 pounds as you get through the squat sets. It will get really heavy really fast and you want to make sure that you have the proper form. If you follow the program to the t then you are adding 15 pounds per week as is on the squat. As for the overhead press if your gym has fixed bars than you…

I know I'm a guy but here's' 3 months of SL. I dont do anything else either. I dont count calories other than just approximating what I eat. Im not that close to goal yet so that will probably change on how much I need to be diligent about it. Counting calories has never been anything I thought I could be long term so I…

I have failed a couple times but I always lift in a rack with safety bars. Basically i usually just get stuck at the bottom and can only make it a quarter at the way up so just end up lowering it to the bar and then going to my knees. Pain to unrack and then re rack tho lol

I would also look into stronglifts 5x5 its very similar to starting strength and free. also very simple.

Reported. I am going to my MFP mom and going to tell on you. I will make her take me out for coffee just so I can sob directly into it whilst my tears cool it. I will complain endlessly about how you made fun of my back fat and told me there was no exercise other than doing hours upon hours of Richard Simmons videos that…

Ok so was kind of a bigger idiot than usual this morning. I have been sleeping all kinda of weird hours and its really kinda throwing my workout schedule off track. That's awesome I'd probably start cheering. I have a very low tolerance for stupid. I will tell you so when you have hit that threshold. Probably won't like me much after that either, but oh well.

Well since this is fantasy Chris Farley... Because face it we both need(ed) it and tt would be funny as hell at the same time.

Great job! Unless you're hitting a plateau I dont know why you would want to stop. Unless youre just doing it because you want to eat more.

I would look into Stronglifts 5x5 or New rules of weightlifting for women. Both are very simple basic programs for beginners. There are also groups on here for both http://www.myfitnesspal.com/forums/show/4618-stronglifts-5x5-for-women http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups/home/102-new-rules-of-lifting-for-women-nrol4w
