Well if you do end up losing weight without resistance training, you are going to look like ****.

Technically you will not need anything in terms for food fuel for weight lifting provided you have eaten something the day before. To my knowledge muscles tend to prefer the use of stored glycogen vs blood sugar for fuel.
-
If you lift 6 days a week you cant really cycle your calories/macros as much so that **** dont work for me. And every day is high carb day.
-
Quite simply the fact that the calorie/dollar ratio is so skewed.

Id question how one stress fractures as a result of overtraining. The overtraining people refer to is the fatigue of the CNS and muscles to the point where someone would develop physcological side effects.
-
people who think they are overtraining.

That I.F is some sort of magical fat loss/muscle building entity.

I love crossfit for the group atmosphere and the competition against your peers. It really motvates you to give it your all. If they offer some sort of intro classes, i would reccomend them, some of the olympic style movements require some special attention when learning. Prepare to feel exhausted possibly neauseous…

losing weight sucks for this very reason. You are not experiencing true hunger with your cal intake, that only comes in roughly 72 hours or more with no food. Just have to grin and bear it, next time save more calories for when your willpower is the weakest, usually its night time for most people. Up the protein, more…

You might be more hungry on your weight lifting days, but you are burning way more calories on your running days. Ive never understood the whole eat more on lifting/less on recovery day concept. I prefer a straight deficit throughout the week.

If you spend most of your day sitting, and only workout 3 times a week for say an hour. That would not take you from sedetary to lightly active.

Though i would hazard a guess most people on this site carry enough BF on them to sustain some seriously long bouts of low calories without really screwing much up.

Hmm some people enjoy actually testing the limits of their bodies. But you can stick to your water aerobics and low impact cardio if you chose. Good luck with your goals in 2013.

He also fully accepted the risks of squatting on a ball when he decided it was a good idea to do. Its his life he can do what he wants. Also really dig Jamie Lewis' attitude. And i think everyone would benefit from being a little more egotistical in their lives.

i seem to do alright at both.

The secret is, move around a lot. People who burn a lot of calories never sit still, fidget, talk with their hands, walk everywhere, workout a lot.
