^^ This! I do the same thing. I make sure I have good posture and try and hit my cadence (180). Once I've got that down I can focus on breathing and it is breathe in for 3 strides, out for 3 strides. Usually in through the nose, out through the mouth.

This... If I know I am going out to lunch or dinner, I try to plan my day. I'll figure out what I am having for the rest of my meals & snacks and plug that all in. Yep! When I get to goal I am going to get my half sleeves done. I already have the artist working on them so I can keep at as an extra means of motivation. And I agree with the others, it does not hurt as bad as you think it will...if at all. My last tat on my back nearly put me to sleep :):)
