I have been doing so well as of late with what I eat and I have not gone over at all. This morning I decided to treat myself to a doughnut on my way to work and made sure it was within my normal breakfast cals. I got to work and there were cupcakes in the break room from my favorite bakery... before I could talk myself out…

So sorry for your loss. I found out New Years Eve I was pregnant, and was in the ER by that night. I was not as far along as you (only 6-8 weeks). But I was gaining weight and did not know why until I got the BFP. It took 3 months to get my body to expel, and for my weight loss to start up again. Just stay active, eat…

I was diagnosed in 2012 after my weight started to balloon out of control. No matter what I did I would gain 3-5 pounds per week. My PCOS is accompanied by insulin resistance and high testosterone. Stress doesnt help either. Once I found out, I changed my diet to low carb, low calorie, low GI. I added exercise a few times…

I did not dive into the Oreos last night like I felt I "needed to." I knew if I did, there would not be one surviving cookie. :#

Thank you!! That is some great info. I can walk, but basically when I need to. I have issues with the nerves going into spasm and tripping me up. But I may try a slow walk, and go with a friend to catch me just in case. ;) I have been eating at my weight loss goal, but the weight is still slowly coming on. I may need to…

For ME, it is not just about seeing results. It is how I FEEL. There were days when I felt like crap, seeing no results, not change on the scale, or in my clothes. BUT I noticed a clarity in my skin. A smoothing of cellulite. Healthier nails and hair. Just to FEEL GOOD was enough to get through those days and keep my…

Great job with the loss so far! That is an excellent start! 1. I have been a member for some time. But I got serious about it March of 2013. And then life (and the Holidays!) happened around Octoberish until now. 2. I cannot say that is was easy OR difficult. It definitely requires (for me) a new way of thinking. Some…

I cannot really put a number on the scale or size of clothes I would like to be in by summer. I WOULD like to get rid of (or most of) the pooch on my belly. You know, lose the need to "suck it in". LOL

I used to be the same way. I hated doing ANYTHING alone. And I hated trying to exercise alone the most. I felt if I did not have a buddy that I would not have the will power to do it. That I needed that other person to push me when I did not want to continue. However, as time has passed, I am able to do EVERYTHING alone,…

I have a Polar FT4. With chest strap. It is amazing. Super simple to set up, and very simple to operate. Tells me HR and calories burned.
