Lot of hangry people here

I have been here, and I've seen the light. I lost quite a bit by eating around 1000 calories and running lots, but I was a moody *****. And when I hit a major plateau I was a major ***** x 1 million. I found lots of support and help online from people who advocate eating more to weigh less. Here's what I did Over-ride the…

Awesome thanks! Looks like my tdee is 2400, no wonder I am tired and emo at 1300. Will aim to eat all my exercise calories (total will be around 1700) and see if that makes a difference.

Hey - hugs to you. I've been there, bingeing and all, and it's taken me a lot of years to realise everyone is different, and the only real reason to make a change is for your own health and well-being. I think the key for me is exercise, I still eat a lot so I have to work out every day. Also being on here and tracking…

I'm loving Bircher Muesli at the moment - 2 cups oats, 1 cup orange juice, 1 cup low fat yog, 1/4 cup almonds, 1 cup frozen mixed berries, stir all together and leave overnight. Serves 4 at 252 cals. You could have double, or have with 2 slices multigrain bread, top with 40g edam and 2 tomatoes, and grill (336 cals).

I've lost 15kg this year by tracking my food and exercising almost every day. Typical (good) week includes 2 x spin classes, 2-3 5km runs, 3-4 hour long walks, 1-2 zumba classes, and kettle bell workouts every other night.

Nice work everyone! I did an hour power walk with the dogs and a toddler asleep in the buggy. Given the searing heat I'm sure I burned more calories than usual Tracked all my food too. Whoops 600 over, but hey, it's Christmas and knowing I was going to track made me feel in control.

I have a theory - and I test it a lot: skinny people don't emotionally eat. Ask a skinny person - if you're really stressed do you eat much? And they'll say "No way, I can't eat". Ask a bigger person and they'll say "Yes, I can't stop." Now that I've figured that out I try to be mindful of emotional eating, watching what…
