One of my least fave things my trainer did was using a box and she constantly told me this was for booty . She had me sit on the box (chair or weight bench would work too) and then lift one foot of the floor- then I had to pull myself up to standing position (no help from arms) keeping that foot off floor and then do a…

I only have a few things at home in the way of equipment and nothing big- I have some weights, kettle bells, jump rope and that's about it besides my Gazelle. I also just got Zumba for Wii and have a couple other exercise Wii games not to mentions exercise DVDS. Lots of things my trainer had me do, I didn't have to use…

I am actually down another 5 lbs since I stopped working with my trainer, so I am super excited about that! I'm still working out and eating as healthy as possible, I do splurge every once in a while. I am currently training for my 1st 1/2 marathon in April, my goal is to just finish because I haven't ran more than a 5K…

I'm still working, would like to lose another 10-15 lbs. However my next goal is to run my 1st 1/2 marathon in April, the day after my 35th birthday so I am training for that now! Thank you for your comment!

Thank you for your comments! We both know it's not easy and I had moments in my process that I got completely discouraged too, keep on pushing through! You can do it!

I'm just starting my training for my first 1/2 marathon on April 2nd, which happens to be the day after my 35th birthday. I would love any pointers you may have, I have done 3-5K and have gotten a PR each time. Congrats on your AMAZING accomplishment, I know you will do FABULOUS at your race! Hugs, Christy

My trainer would have me do toe raises all the time, we would super set them. Toes straight ahead, then toes turned out, then toes turned in to work all aspects of calves. I also did them while holding weights in each hand for added twist!
-
Not sure if they are in there or not but try tricep dips and calf raises.

I actually worked with a local personal trainer here in Kansas City at HitchFit gym, I chose to do in person training but they also do online programs all over the world and were voted #1 here. You can google their site and see the before and afters of many of their clients and be truly inspired- August celebrated their…

Awesome challenge! I start my 1/2 marathon training program tomorrow so these challenges will work perfectly for me! Hit the gym today and burned 568 calories on the treadmill in hour doing intervals (10 minute warm-up/cool down), incline between 1.5-5.5 and 4.5-7 mph. It felt great, the I did 100 leg extensions with 35…
