  • I guess its a Western thing. I know in China and Korea (where the average height of a woman is around 5'2) doctors recommend women to ingest between 1000-1500 cals a day on a diet, depending on activity level. So the number is lower, but not by much. I'm sure if you eat different foods every day and make stuff nutritious,…
  • i've been restricting all sugar these last two days as an experiment, and tonight i made myself a peach-banana-strawberry smoothie. i couldn't drink it down cuz it was so sweet.
  • first off, congrats. second, are you kidding? FLORAL. You spent all those years hiding in black. time to show OFF your work. plus, the v-neck cut of the floral is much more flattering than the black one. edit: large prints also hide flaws. on the black one, i've only got your silhouette to look at, so even small lumps…
  • Definitely. A minute on the lips is an hour on the treadmill
  • Aww you look like a little girl in floral~ I like #4 personally, but since 1, 2, and 4 all have the same cut, I don't think it matters. Leave your hair down for the meeting, it's slimming. Also, try a belt and some long necklaces to break up the print
  • Juice the ginger separately. The flavor is STRONG
  • Being asian, i've been drinking 4-5 cups of green tea daily (seeped from loose leaves) since i was like 10. No noticible changes yet ;) except maybe discolored teeth

  • I think if you take a bite of everything, and then compliment the chef like "Mhmmmm this is soo delish" but then explain that you're counting calories, they'll understand.
  • Peanut butter, Jelly, chocolate, cheese... and I'm still fat
  • I'm pretty short so I see a diff with 4 or 5 lbs. But when I'm losing weight, I just feel tighter in the stomach and happier overall.
  • I know exactly what you mean lol. Conversation with my doc last year: Dr: So ur lipid panel came back. Everything's good- Me: YAY Dr: -except... cholesterol. It's 201, slightly elevated Me: OMGSHFJDSK. *Clutches heart. WHAT DO I DO. Dr: Meh. *flips some papers. Your weight's normal. Don't worry about it. Me:…
  • Whenever I get a strong craving, I go to my closet and try to pull on a pair of the tightest, smallest jeans I own. If I want to eat, then I have to do it in those pants. The craving usually goes away
  • I feel that a lot of processed foods (frozen meals, lunchmeat, snacks, stuff that comes canned) has a lot of salt. Maybe try cooking at home more? Its okay to eat over your salt limit if you compensate with water. just drink until you pee clear :)
  • Hell no I am not measuring my pee.
  • While I don't think you should skip them, as all three provide fiber, I kinda see where the article is coming from. I wouldn't consider any of them a full serving of vegetables, because the nutrition density is so low.
  • I totally agree! Some coffeeshops do this and it completely changes how I order. Sometimes, you order something you know is calorific, but you trick yourself saying, well it can't be THAT bad... But seeing the numbers really makes a difference! Eg. Do I really want to spend 635 calories on a extra-large Mocha Caramel Extra…
  • I love to make mine with milk, its sooo creamy and decadent. (Of course, I have to forgo the sugar to keep the calories under control)
  • I'll never forget the day I actually measured out 3/4 of a cup of Honey Bunches. The meager sprinkling barely covered the bottom of my bowl. In my head, I was like "... so this is why I'm fat."
  • Thiss. I used to think "whole bean"-er coffee people were just too darn fancy until I tried some freshly ground, freshly brewed coffee. It was the first time I drank coffee black, b/c the flavored cream tasted so cheap in comparison that it would ruin the flavor! And this is coming from someone who drank instant with no…

  • Try tofu :) There's no taste so you can do whatever you want with it. For firm tofu, I like to slice up 3oz and fry in a tsp of oil. Then I make a korean marinade (with soy sauce, pear juice, sesame, green onion, garlic etc.) and dip and eat! It's delish and low cal. You can use soft tofu to replace some of the banana/milk…
  • Eat a huge variety of foods a day, but eat them in smaller portions. Work out for more calories.
  • I look at Victoria's Secret website while sitting naked in front of a mirror
  • Agave's the chemical equivalent of high high high high fructose corn syrup. It's not what I would chose.
  • 5"2, 124lb and size 6. Goal is a size 2 womens/ size 1 jrs.
  • I think for a lot of guys, when they say "fresh faced" they mean "natural, subtle" makeup, just b/c most of the women they see day to day are wearing makeup.
  • This is so sad :( I hope she can find it in her to change her life before its too late. On an unrelated note, I'm 123lbs, eating healthy and exercising every day, and I have high cholesterol, but this 700lb woman who makes a career out of pigging out doesn't? :noway:
  • Sometimes, on dark nights when I'm alone, I go on youtube and watch bread-making videos.
  • Im 124ish right now but im soo out of shape. I want to get to a weight where i dont have to worry about thigh rubbing and sucking my stomach in... So we'll see how that goes. Im thinking 110ish but that might be too hard
  • Ahaha i know just what you mean. Like at the gym, when you're just prodding along pleasantly on your treadmill, Usain Bolt on your left starts running so fast his legs are a blur, and you just passively aggressively wish he would get trip in his stupid flappy runners shorts, you know what I'm saying?
