  • I've never eaten a hamburger.
  • Nah, my doctor said you can have upwards of 120g of fiber a day and still be ok.

  • OMG I know what you mean. Or the skinny people who are like, "OMG I'M SO FREAKING FAT." So then you go, "well, eat better and exercise." and then they go "Well, I'm not THAT fat." Haaate fishers
  • Exercising helps (even though you'll feel awful if your bloated) since it makes things move down there. Food wise, try to eat a day of only veggies/fruits. I did that and the next day i was regular. Try not to take too many stool softeners, it'll cause dependency. Massage also helps a LOT. Lie on your back with your knees…
  • Yes i do feel the burn No i do not "just love it"
  • Thanks for replying! whew, looks like the general opinion is positive, i'm good. @cory nails are undone, ur colors sound fantastic. @sharidiane good point... If I said they were white?
  • easiest solution: tuck in the front, hang in the back:laugh:

  • 1. Lost about .5 lb 2. Nah i was an about 16 cals over my net goal every day 3. Only for like 30 minutes total 4. No.
  • Not sure how well traditional Chinese'll fly with you, but stir fry is excellent. Cut the celery into strips (2-3 inches lengthwise, 1/2 an inch width). Heat about a tablespoon of vegetable oil (for 1 bunch of celery, serves around 4) and pop in some strips of pork. Drop your celery in, add some salt and seasoning, and…
  • 1. Turkey, tomato, avocado, cilantro. 2. Chicken, hummus, pear, romaine
  • You end world hunger and now everyone's fat. I wish gas was cheaper.
  • Orange soda is healthy, and you drink until you're sick of it. I wish I was tall.
  • Cabbage and proscuitto with honey. Yes.
  • I love this rain. Its been magical for my allergies.
  • DW about it. A giant steak before bed might give you indigestion, but it's still the same amount of calories. As long as your net intake for the day is the same, and your net metabolism is the same (which it always is), you're fine. If not, try eating when you get home at 6, exercising, then showering. Then you'll be nice…
  • That's great! I read somewhere that the younger a kid is introduced to soda/candy/cake, the more they'll want it when they grow up. Even if your kid bends to social pressure in school/ at birthday parties, he'll still have a solid background in healthy eating. GJ :)
  • Thanks! This was exactly what I wanted to know. So I guess efficiency DOES decrease caloric burn. Meaning we'll have to up our exercise to achieve the same results as when we were fatter. Bummer :/ Any other takers?
  • Run under cool water until the burning stops and then wrap LOOSELY with bandages. DO NOT ICE and do NOT apply ointment/ lotion with oils. Unless you can be sure the aloe is sterile, I wouldn't put that on either (wait a day). If you see blisters, don't pop them. You should be good in a week :)

  • Yeah, I know what you mean. I hit the scale once a week, and whenever the number's lower, I'm scared to celebrate because in the back of my head, i'm thinking it's water weight.
  • Omg the instant when you finish ur post-workout shower and sink into the couch? Heaven
  • I do it for 10 minutes b4 bed every night- it knocks me out. I find that it doesn't burn as much calories because it's not cardio/aerobics.
  • Pop a Singular or a Claritin 30 min before you workout for maximum relief. Seriously, it'll help. Nothing is more miserable than working out with a stuffy nose. Stay away from Benadryl though, it'll make you tired faster.
  • Your waist is tons smaller :) GJ and GL
  • Yeah, unfortunately :(. Calories in ice creams comes almost completely from sugar, milk fat, and milk protein ( chemically, they would be forms of C6H12O6 and triglycerides with a mix of saturated and unsaturated fatty acid chains. Protein would be amino acid chains) The few calories from vegetables comes from their stored…
  • Again I don't want to attack anyone for their diet choice. I'm just saying be careful, and drink tons of water because metabolism of proteins produces uric acid, which is carried in the blood to your kidneys. Hydrostatic pressure forces solutes + water across a nonselective membrane into the tubule system. Water +…
  • It's a good article, but it has some misleading points. - Anaerobic respiration and aerobic respiration are not interchangeable "modes" your entire body goes into. The former occurs ONLY in muscle cells in the absence of oxygen (as during a workout). Every other cell in your body undergoes aerobic respiration always. -…
