I had mine this morning with lemon and sugar (well, sweetener actually. I used up the sugar over the weekend).

I've lost 36lbs and gone from a UK 16 to a UK 10.

People can be reluctant to give the health eating/exercising thing a go because it's too slow. A fad diet promises to drop 10lbs a week and people love the sound of those kind of results. It's supposed to be easy. You eat x or don't eat y for a week and the wait will fall off. You tell them it'll take 5 weeks to drop those…

I will always try my boyfriend's food and he will always try mine. I don't log it unless it's dessert (and that's usually because I don't get my own dessert but eat 1/4 of his). For the actual meal I don't log it because when we eat out (which isn't that often any more), the calories in our meals won't be that different.…

Just as weight watchers requires you to log anything with points (I think that's how it works), calorie counting requires you to count anything with calories. Like you said, fruit can add up to 200-300 calories a day which is quite a significant amount so you should add them.

What I find most annoying, is when people put commas, just about anywhere, like, whenever they think a pause is warranted, even when it isn't, and, whenever they think they can use it in place of a conjunction, it really just makes the sentence nonsensical, and when, rather than using a comma in its correct usage, they…

I'm too lazy to read the entire thread so I apologise if any one else mentioned this but I wanted to comment on something you said. Communication is the most important part of a relationship and words are what distance us from the rest of the animal kingdom. Words mean absolutely everything - we learn about each other not…

I live on the 3rd floor and completely 30DS last year. If you are light-footed then there are very few moves that'll really bang so just go for it. I was anxious at first but it's really only a couple of minutes banging at most a day, so you'll be fine! :)

It's been very quiet around here. I hope everyone is getting on okay! We're so close to the end now! I had to take another day off yesterday due to revision bit I'm looking forward to carrying on today after my exam. I'm finding level 4 simultaneously easier and harder: easier because I can do all of the moves this time…

If you log it as circuit training it'll give you a rough estimate. That's what I've always used to log JM workouts. For me (according to MFP) I burn 249 calories in half hour but it'll vary for weight and height.

As others have said, I've lost 30-something pounds (I'm not really sure/don't really care what the number is) by eating normal food. That means pizza (and yes, sometimes stuffed crust), chocolate milk, wine, cookies and bread as well as chicken breasts, veggies, nuts, yoghurt and a variety of healthier things. I would have…

"The Endobarrier is a balloon-type device, taken orally, which lines the intestine and prevents food from being absorbed." Wouldn't the patient end up with malnutrition? Also, it seems like it does absolutely nothing to retrain bad eating habits. I'd also like to read a report about it that isn't from the Daily Mail…

^This. I log all my JM workouts as Circuit Training. Although a HRM would be best if you can afford one (not that I can talk, I still haven't gotten round to buying one).

Wow, that's incredible!! Some really fantastic losses there! If I need any motivation to keep going, then this certain does the job! Really, well done! I should have been starting week 4 today, but I ended up taking 2 days off as I was swamped with revision. So today is now Week 3 Day 6. I'm loving Week 3. It's hard, but…

Just a very quick check-in. It's exam time for me so I've not really been online - but rest assure I have still be working out. Tonight I'll be doing week 3, day 4. I may or may not have a rest day tomorrow, it depends how exhausted I am tomorrow evening. Well done everyone. Some great achievements from you all!…

I'll definitely be making those! Thanks!

I took a break day yesterday so today was my first day of week 3 and I completely understand what you mean about your muscles shaking. What a killer workout. I was actually shouting death threats at Jillian Michaels during circuit 1. It did get easier, but that first circuit is really tough. My legs are still burning. In…

Me! But I'm not the healthiest eater.

My boyfriend is fantastic. We eat the same dinners and he would never expect me to cook anything else for him, we never have biscuits, crisps or chips in (we haven't had chips in the house for over a year but he prefers baked potatoes anyway, so that makes life easy). And when he cooks he makes sure our meals are healthy…

The problem (I personally find) with the plate issue is if I have a smaller plate I do think I'm undereating and then I don't feel satisfied. What I do instead is fill the plate with a side salad (just leaves for the most part and never any dressing). My plate looks fuller so I feel better about what I have and eating the…

I had actually forgot all about TOM, but yes, it is that time. Both seem like good reasons so hopefully I'll see a change next week. And Congrats on your losses! That's really well earned! Today was my last day of week 2 and I'm really quite sad to leave it. But it certainly is nice to say that I'm halfway through. I'm…

Although you can't spot reduce fat, I would still recommend doing oblique crunches (along with abs and back exercises) to make sure you get the most out of your body. You'll lose the weight with the cardio but the toning exercises will give you that sexy, lean look.

Beware, they give you complimentary tortilla chips & salsa when you first sit down (it's always my downfall). The Baja bowls aren't too bad if you opt for them without the tortilla wrap. Or you could get some marinaded chicken and just ask for it with salad (the actual salads aren't really that low in calories - the ones…

This looks like a great, motivating challenge. First week for me. Weekly Goal: 3500 Mon: 823 (Ripped in 30 Wk 1 & 2 + Banish Fat Boost Metabolism) Tues: calories burned (how they were burned) Wed: calories burned (how they were burned) Thur:calories burned (how they were burned) Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)…

I can't afford any until Monday, but I might give push up bars a go. My wrists absolutely kill during the plank moves. I was actually getting a bit concerned yesterday that I might end up doing some damage. As for weight loss, I'm up a 1/2 a pound. That sounds trivial, but I was up by a whole 2lbs mid-week and all of it…

This is my favourite Jillian DVD. I love it. I get impatient to finish the others but 6W6P seems to go by so quickly. It's tough, though. Especially level 2 (which I've still not completed) I haven't actually done it for six weeks solid, I usually use it as a filler DVD to go along with 30DS or Ripped in 30 when I have…
