  • Possible? Yes. Difficult? Definitely. It also depends on where you are starting from. If you have a lot to lose it will be easier. If you don't have that much to lose it's going to be really really hard.
  • I know how you feel. I have a co worker that weighs probably a good 500 pounds if I had to guess, eats mcdonalds twice a DAY and then gets super defensive when I mention anything about my diet or exercise when I'm not even speaking to her. And more than once I've been in a fitting room listening to little tiny tiny girls…
  • Sounds to me like it's time to start maintenance and toning mode. Start throwing in a little more resistance , weight training in and look for changes in your muscle tone instead of changes on the scale.
  • I would use a sun block over a sunscreen and do very little and not every day. I'm super super super paranoid about the sun. My sister who is six years older than me loves to tan. She just turned 30 and she already looks like she's 45. And she's recently discovered a spot on her skin that the doctor thinks may be a…
  • I do a huge glass of water and a large red delicious apple. It's very filling and has just enough sweetness to keep me from thinking about candy bars. An apple is generally around 80 - 100 calories depending on size. And it's a simple carb so it breaks down pretty easy and still gives you energy.
  • Sounds to me like she's jealous and insecure. In my experiences with people at work and acquaintances people who don't take the time or the effort to take care of themselves get really defensive when they see somebody they know putting in the effort. They assume that we think we are better than them at the mere mention of…
  • For me it was about every 10 - 15 pounds. At 220 I barely fit into my size 18s and I should have been wearing 20s. When I got back to around 200 my 18s fit good and I could squeeze into 16s. 16s started fitting good around 180 - 190 14s about 175ish 12s around 160 - 165ish now i'm just under 160 and I can squeeze into 10s…
  • Got a polar ft4 on ebay for 60 dollars. Best birthday present I ever got myself.
  • Belly button piercing! I'm more of a tattoo girl myself but I've always found belly button piercings to be really sexy on a nice flat toned stomach.
  • I haven't reached any huge weight loss goals. Though I have accomplished getting back on the wagon after falling off for a long time. I have binged a little this month but I have not purged. I'm starting to feel like I might have a fighting chance against bulimia.
  • I've only been with one guy and I'm very very thankful for that. I had been planning on waiting for him to say those three special words but what can I say. We dated for about three weeks and for me it just felt right even though he hadn't said it yet. August 8th will be the end of year 5!
  • I honestly don't know what I would do without you wonderful people on this wonderful site. I feel so much better now.
  • Thank you so much for your kind words. I am glad that I decided to mow the lawn today so I ended up going over my calories a bit and I ate back ALL of my exercise calories but it doesn't look nearly as ugly as it would have if I hadn't pushed that lawn mower around and raked for over an hour.
  • A heart rate moniter is a good investment if you have a little expendab e income. Anything from Polar is good. I got my polar ft4 brand new on ebay for way cheaper than retail. Its a good tool to have .
  • You must be tall and carry your weight well because im around the same weight and I most certainly dont look like that. You are smokin girl. Keep up the good work.
  • Thanks for listening to my rant. Thers definitely some good advice here. I suppose if shes here to stay ill just have to deal. hopefully she will leave me alone if if I keep to myself for a while.
  • I'm in Sterling Heights. I havn't made many friends since I moved here from Southgate so if there is anybody around here that needs an exercise buddy let me know!
  • I'm in. Here's my June 1st Apologies ahead of time. . . I actually took this a couple days ago when I bought It but I can't imagine I look much different now.
  • Waiting for the local vendor to open up down the street. All natural, all organic tomatoes and green peppers and squash and a ton of other stuff. And all for a reasonable price (def cheaper than the grocery store). I can't wait! I've also already been eating a ton of blueberries. All the berries are on sale at the grocery…
  • Already bought a bikini because all the other bathing suits were ugly. Going to reward myself with actually wearing it in public. . . And gonna have to buy new clothes. Unfortunately that's all I can really afford. Depending on my money situation I might spend the 600 dollars to start my personal trainer / nutrition…
  • I just watched this today on Hulu. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about it. I don't like that they are cramming a whole year into one episode. There's nothing really showing about what she learned (if anything). And it didn't really show us her progress after the show (since she obviously still had a ways to go). It…
  • Shadow Boxing! Just sit on the edge of your couch or your favorite chair and practice your punches. You'd be surprised how much you can get your heart rate up just sitting on your couch.
  • When I first lost weight in college (before I gained it all back) I lost it just by walking the dogs every day and watching what I ate. Liveing with a diabetic helped too. No sugar in the house at all.
  • Ooooooooo
  • I actually work at Pizza Hut. Your best bet is to log them as bread sticks. It's essentially the exact same dough. Depending on the size of the crusts I'd log them as 1.5 - 2 Breadsticks.
  • I've tried this. I love peanut better. Bought some a while ago to have for snacks on days when I was having trouble reaching my calorie goal. Ended up eating the whole jar. . . I have no self control.
  • Ziaki is a name I use for my World of Warcraft name. A friend and I came up with it a few years back. It doesn't actually have any meaning in any other language that I have found though I do get asked if it's Japanese a lot. The only really interesting thing about it is that I know more people that call me Ziaki than I do…
  • *jealous* I wish I could get down to a size four but I'm already down to 160ish size 10 / 12 jeans and my hip bones are already starting to peek out so I don't think my child bearing hips will allow a size 4. Maybe a 6 at my goal weight if i'm lucky.
  • I've never forgotten to eat. I'm always thinking about what I'm going to eat next and when. I have had days where I just don't feel like eating. But I always at least try to nibble on something.
