I actually did give up some things but they were things I didn't really like that much to begin with. Fast food for the most part makes me sick so I generally stay away from it. Soda doesn't fit into my calorie goals so I don't drink it. Now as for things I really love. Peanut Butter, I have it almost every day. I force it…

This also reminds me of my boyfriends neice. Around her mother she is an absolute terror. All her mom does is yell and scream at her and make idle threats. The girl knows her mom isn't going to actually do anything about it except scream and yell. Around her dad. Perfect angel. And if she starts acting up he starts…

I did! I didn't want to but I did. Didn't do a super great job but I still did it and it was still better than sitting on the couch moping about feeling fat.

I agree. My dad spanked me once and told me why. Because I had crossed the street on my bike without looking. My mom spanked me more often and most of the time it was out of frustration. Not saying this this is the singular cause but my mom and I don't have an amazing relationship. And my dad is my best friend.

I don't have kids. But I know that my step siblings got spanked quite a bit and my parents hardly ever spanked or hit me. Most of us turned out to be pretty decent human beings. But if I'm at work and a customer has a screaming child I'm certainly not going to look down on them for taking their child into the bathroom and…

I came up with this one when my sister and I were down in florida for a few weeks in the summer. It started with us complaining about the crappy AC in our grandparents van. My sister says "It sucks so bad. It's feels like they hired a bum to sit in the fan and blow on use with an ice cube in his mouth." Then later that…

Peanut Butter. I gave it up for MONTHS because I just could not control myself around it. If I bought a jar it would be gone within a few days. Now I allow myself to have a peanut butter sandwich almost everyday (natural, low sodium) and I don't feel the need to binge on it anymore.

I haven't completely cut out pork but it's definitely not my meat of choice. The taste and texture of most pork is just really really unappealing.

Yea baby!

Oh my. It's getting hot in here.

This exactly. Sugar is sugar no matter where it comes from. Not only is the apple going to get used slowly over time and less likely to get stored as fat but it also has other nutrients in there as oppose to candy bar which is not going to do anything good for your body.

I had gotten down to 160 pounds while I lived with my diabetic father. Met my boyfriend and ballooned right back up to 220 pounds. When my size 18 jeans stopped fitting. Oh heeeeeeelll no, I do not want to have to shop at a plus size store. I still struggled with my weight, taking two steps forward, giving up and taking a…

I have this problem too. Mine is going to come any day now. And I know it because I'm moody and yesterday I ate an entire box of freezer pops (luckily the sugar free ones about 160 calories). The best thing I've done for myself is to keep anything that I might binge on out of my house. It's strictly clean food in my house…

Dear lord. Things like that is one of the many reasons why obesity is an epidemic in this country. I'm working on my fitness / nutrition certification because I want to help people achieve what I have achieved and to do my part to fight the epidemic. When I see things like this though I realize that this is what my career…

Those numbers actually sound about right. I would definitely stick to the sedentary and then log your walking as part of your exercise and see how that works for you. And if you are going to eat the calories back I would definitely stay on the side of caution and stick with the lower number or something in between. It's…

It's possible but it definitely takes some getting used to and a lot of dietary changes. And if your goal is set to 1200 you pretty much have to eat all of your exercise calories back to avoid a plateau. I would suggest re evaluating your setting. If the site gave you 1200 the you probably plugged in a goal of 2 lbs per…

I have a question for you. Are you exercising and are you eating back your exercise calories? If not that could be the cause of your plateau. Our bodies tend to get rather stubborn when we are not feeding them enough and making sure you are netting around 1200 calories a day is important to keep that from happening.

Its beautiful! Annd you are so brave for getting something that big for your first tattoo!

We are not judging you. We are just trying to tell you the truth and give you advice. You are underweight. That is not opinion, that is fact. Any doctor would tell you the same thing. We are not saying it to be mean, judgmental or hurtful. We are saying it because we care and we don't want anybody to do anything that could…

I read this from one of your other posts. Now I'm not a doctor but I am studying fitness health and nutrition. At 5'6" and 99 pounds you are already underweight. If you don't like the way you look perhaps focus on strength training, building the muscles and reducing body fat, and stop worrying about the number on the scale.

Last week I got to the gym once. I had to work on my garden and my work schedule was all over the place. But between all the stuff I had to get done and all of the running around I was doing I still managed to lose 2.1 pounds last week.

Green Lantern Pizza is a Michigan local pizzeria. Best i've ever had. Dong Sing's. Another local. the food is amazing and the customer service is amazing. Kind of surprised the owner hasn't called and asked me where I've been for the past month and a half. Mongolian BBQ. Mmmmm asian food any way I want it and as much as I…

You eat 1000 calories a day and work out every day. Yes you are definitely not eating enough. You have to take into account how many calories you are burning. If you are eating 1000 calories a day and burning 30 - 40 minutes worth of calories EVERY day then you are asking your body to function on WAY too few calories and…
-
I eat at least some of mine back. You want that net calories number to be around 1200. Some people will say that they do just fine not eating thier exercise calories back. But I personally don't think it's good for your body. Look at it this way. A person who's goal is 1200 calories a day goes and works out and burns say…

I've lost more weight than the weight of all of my animals combine. That's a 30 lb beagle A 25 pound sheltie mix. a 4 pound bunny a 1 pound chinchilla 2 mice probably about 3oz each +7 pounds on top of that

I avoid nail salons like the plague. The few times i've been in one I couldn't understand anything they said and I don't really know the drill so I couldn't even play a long and I could tell that they were starting to get ticked at me when I was like "Uh what?" For the 500th time.

Ummmm no not really. Unless you are super bloated with water weight it's not really going to do anything for you except dehydrate you. And if you are bloated with water weight the best way to get rid of it believe it or not is to drink more water.

I am amused.
