Gosh, I am reading some of the messages in here. I have done a good amount of time here and was doing fairly well until I thought I was losing my mind. After just happening to mention to a female co-worker about periods having no cycle and other things she told me some things happening to her and they were very similar and…

Just a wee bump up for any ideas.

If your dog races to the fence and the person on the other perceives it as aggressive, they can report it to the local council and the dog can have a classification of menacing put on it which means that it can not have access to be aggressive on the fence along with other stringent rules that must be adhered to. Same with…

Hi! I am just over 5ft tall. In October 2012 I was 100.6kg (221.78 lbs). I joined MFP after being told about it from someone who is now a great friend and support when I wanted to look at the food side of things after I had increased my exercise so started here in Dec 2012 and my weight then was 96.2kg (212 lbs). My main…

You have made a start, well done. And although your twins are 18 months old at the moment, once they start walking and are on their feet, you will no longer be sedentary.

Agree with this. So well said.

Bump for reference later.

Thank you everyone. This site has been so inspirational and with heaps of supportive people.

I have gone smaller in band size but not cup, in fact the cup size has increased and that is after me being measured up in store by someone who did it properly. But the bras fit great and feel so much more comfortable than my previous bras.

Well done! :-) I was really starting to dislike those BMI calculators but I have gone from obese to overweight so now I tolerate them as I am heading towards the healthy range.

I too, have mine open to my MFP friends. I like the that we share our diaries and when I first started I had very little idea of what to cook as I was a basic meat and three veges cook but I have had some really good ideas to try from viewing others diaries.

Logging everything and see how you can change. in some cases it is a matter of portion size. Do you have a dog or know of someone who has a dog that I am sure would love getting out and walking with you.

Looking at these posts with before and after shots, I have to say you can absolutely see the confidence beaming out in the after shots or latest shots (if work in progress). It is amazing how these changes have boosted peoples confidence and that has got to be good. I have lost a fair bit so far on my journey and my boss…

I started out for health (getting fitter by walking) and then it flowed on from there, looking at diet, how I look and feel about myself. I do have a goal but even now I just feel so much better within myself health wise and my body has given me signs it is getting back on track health wise.

Thank you for posting this thread. I am set at 1250 and over the last few days (end of working week) was feeling tired when I got home from work and was beginning to wonder whether 1250 was too little although I did not feel hungry. I never used to eat my exercise calories back much but have slowly started to and I am…

A bump up for anymore ideas/advice.

Ok so I entered my details in to the Fitness Frog Tdee calculator and put my exercise as moderate (exercising 3 - 5 days a week) and it has given me a Tdee calculation of 2213 - 20% is 1770.4. With MFP I have a calorie goal of 1250 and if I log the exercise (which is the same most days) and is 337, I end up with 1587. I…

I donated on Tuesday after work. I ate the frankfurter in bread offered afterwards but did not eat the sausage I had planned for tea that night. I was standing talking to someone while I ate the frankfurter and had to sit down as I was a bit light headed and they gave me a sugary fruit juice and a lolly. I did do a walk…

Beautiful dogs 3dogs running. My two are with me in my profile pic. I forgot to mention one gets walked at least an hour a day (young and very energetic) and the older one half an hour. Most of my exercise thus far is walking and most of it with my dogs. We are coming into winter so looks like we will be walking in all…

I have two German shepherds. They are walked separatley because the area I live in has dogs that can come off sections so safer just to have to manage one dog at a time. Bonus is means i am out walking twice as much. The dogs were what got me into walking first and then looking into diet came after. They give a real…

Well done. Like you I can run now but I have to stick with walking as my arthritic knee does not like it if I run but its is great to know that I can do it for a short distance and not feel like I am going keel over gasping for air ;-)

MFP lost 40lbs 8186 + 40 = 8226 :-)

New Zealand :-)

You look great and so healthy. I read your story on your profile. Well done for making the necessary changes for a better life. An inspirational story. Thank you for sharing and all the best for your future goals.

I have made sure any goodies are included in my calorie goal. Easter comes only once a year. And spreading the eggs etc out in my calorie goals over a couple of days means they are lasting longer.

I am a NZer too. Actually I dont bother adding the cleaning anymore but I do plenty of walking to enable me to still have my treats. But I do admit the vacuuming sometimes makes me sweat a little so must be exercise ;-)

I am 42 so feel free to add me.

The truck did not look THAT big but after all that looks were deceiving;-). Thank goodness it is now all stacked and away after 4 hours. Luckily I am on holiday from work so had all day to do it. But once started I only took a couple of breathers (about 5 mins) and half hour at lunch, I just got stuck in and got it done.

Thank you very much and after 3.5 hours I am still going, just having a breather but I can see the end is nigh. VBG. I think I over ordered the wood but at least when winter comes we will have heaps to burn and any left over means I wont need to order nearly as much next time.
