My 4 year old eats apple cores, or rather she practically inhales entire fruit and takes no prisoners. I remember growing up that my grandfather would sometimes eat the core, and I'm the same. I don't always eat it, but I might if I'm eating my apple while on the move and can't be bothered to find a bin.

That's my target on my Fitbit and I do usually hit it, although by the skin of my teeth some days! Struggling a bit this month as I've been stuck at home with a sick child so I'm hoping to make it up once we're back to normal. :D 1st June - 10061 2nd June - 5984

I tend to just keep mobile, walk around the area a bit, or get ready for the next set if I'm changing equipment. I find if I just stand or sit for my rest I find it harder to start the next set. I find it interesting watching people between sets if I'm doing cardio or during my rest sometimes - I've seen people who dance…

Most of what has already been posted! Personally, though? I wish I had known how well intermittent fasting would work out for me in terms of weight loss - I'd only heard about 5:2 before, but daily fasting fits seamlessly into my lifestyle and I've lost more weight in the month since starting than I did in the previous…

My usual work lunch is roast or grilled vegetables with some form of protein (fish, beans, sliced eggs, cottage cheese) and pasta, often cous cous. Usually with sweet chilli sauce. :) Today, though? Today I went out and had a panini with tuna, peppers, and salad. Tomorrow will be leftover sausage and vegetable casserole.

Ooh interested in this, I bought some the other day. I've only had it sliced and grilled with a tomato sauce on, or the other stuff in cakes ha.

Posting now, mostly to remind myself... I weigh on Wednesdays, though. I tend to do this too - I look for what seems to be closest and has the higher calorie count, and always overestimate.

We're going on holiday in July and I have a pair of jeans that I would like to be able to not only zip up without needing to suck it in, but most importantly be comfortable wearing them for very long active days. I'd love to be able to do a pull up, too!

I've stopped eating in the morning over the last couple of weeks actually since starting intermittent fasting (I break my fast at lunch), and have lost twice as much weight as in the previous weeks. That might taper off, but I find it a lot easier to fit my calories and macros into fewer hours - when I start eating that…

Hi! I'm 5'5 and 191lb, and happy to add anyone. :) I'm pescetarian, although lean more towards vegan most days, and have a young daughter.

300g of roasted red cabbage with balsamic, black coffee, and a protein chocolate pudding. Don't judge me!

I carry a 500ml (16oz I think?) bottle of water everywhere with me, and tend to refill it 4-6 times throughout the day depending on what I'm doing. Not to mention all the coffee I drink too... o:)

I did similar a few weeks back when I decided to speed walk uphill on the treadmill for 3km while continuing to watch something from the night before. Looked at the treadmill when it finished - 7km! Obviously it was good. Were you satisfied with the ending on Jeremy Kyle? Was it worth it? ;)

I keep a bag of nuts or seeds in my drawer at work, and just have a handful if the mood takes me. Often I'll take a whole punnet of grapes, or bag of small oranges or kiwis, and munch my way through them over the week. Big tub of yogurt in the office fridge will last me a week of snacks. Pot of prepared edamame beans with…

I love mine too. I just have the Zip, which is as basic as they get, but as above I find it a great physical reminder to be more active. The challenges are great fun - I have a group of Fitbit friends that all do a challenge together most days, and I'm always trying to go that bit further to win.

Water, oh and some more water. I've just had a long walk in the midday sun and am parched!

My 4 year old likes to have painted nails (like I do) and occasionally wear lip colour (again, like I do.) She also has a lot of days where she doesn't wear anything, funnily enough just like I do... children love to emulate the adults around them, and it is a parent's (or carer, family member, etc) responsibility to talk…

Why isn't it lunch time yet?

Heavy weights session early this morning, then a planned 5k speed walk on the treadmill turned into 7k. Afternoon spent carrying my 50lb+ of sick child around. All in all, my legs ache this evening. Big time.

Pretttty much.

A human skin - I wouldn't mind losing a house cat, though. Apparently to be getting to what is considered a healthy weight for my height I want to lose something around the region of a small bale of hale, which also happens to be the weight of my 4 year old daughter. That is kind of mind boggling to think as she's really…

We had this at the weekend: http://herbivoracious.com/2007/10/recipe-mujadara.html I chucked in some thickly sliced red cabbage with the onions which was still a bit crunchy when I served, and made it a bit more lentil heavy than rice, and it was glorious. I love black beans with mixed vegetables or salad for work lunches.…

Spaghetti, shredded greens, onions, and soya beans with sweet chilli sauce and hummus, and a few squares of milk chocolate with whole nuts in for afters.

I think a lot of it for me was actually how large a serving is on some things, especially the likes of sandwich fillings and nut butters. I was barely using tbsp of peanut butter in a sandwich - a tbsp is a lot more than I thought! Same for the likes of cheese, cereals, vegetables... then I'd be stuffing myself full of…

Really interesting read, thanks for posting this. :) Personally I need to eat *something* first thing after getting up, even just something small, else I start to feel nauseous and dizzy within the hour. I am an early morning gym goer and actually often eat on the walk there, with no ill effect. That said, I forgot to eat…

Sort of... I have some really nice dresses that used to fit, or do fit now but I look a bit lumpy in. The sort of things that will be fine if I lose a dress size. I would still be overweight, but for me that is a comfortable target. Once I get there I'll see how I feel and decide whether to set another.

A handful of my daughter's popcorn at the cinema.
