Set a target for 50 miles - I'm hoping to smash that, but had to cut down on my running last month and I'm struggling to get back into it. 3.9 miles so far.

5km treadmill run this morning - lost my barcode for Park Run, so headed to the gym instead. No time for anything else though, busy day!

I was 25 when I became serious about fitness. I've always been an avid walker, although overweight from childhood onwards, but I do wish that I had discovered strength training earlier. A good basis about nutrition would have been nice, that's something I have had to learn about myself. I am, however, very aware that…

I'm usually around 6am, but am considering 5am tomorrow if I can get to bed at a reasonable time. ;) I prefer an early work out, it puts me in a good mood for the day ahead, and I really struggle with evening workouts. As you can see above, though, tons of people would struggle with early. It's just a matter of what works…

I'm half way through my second (so I've been using it 4+ years) and the only weight gain I experienced was due to inactivity and poor diet. I have no problem losing weight when I want to. :)

I'm in Bedfordshire. :) I had my baby 4.5 years ago though ha, but have a lot of health problems caused by the pregnancy so it's taken me a long time to regain my health.

I've always been an avid walker and enjoyed having a certain level of fitness, even when overweight. I don't drive so would be walking miles each day and loved it... then I slipped on ice and injured my back, and found out that I was in the early stages of pregnancy to boot. Other health issues arose during pregnancy too…

I drink it periodically, maybe once every 2-3 months, but it isn't something that I crave or miss. Sometimes I really fancy an ice cold drink and only a can of cola will cut it, yet another time I'll buy a 500ml bottle on a whim and then end up throwing some of it away days later. I used to drink *a lot* when I was in my…

People who walk really slowly in shopping centres (malls?) and other busy public places, and even more so if they suddenly stop for no obvious reason. I go from neutral to irrationally angry in seconds.

I have a few old dresses that I can't quite zip up, or can but they don't sit right on me. I'd love to be able to wear them again and like the way I look in them.

Rarely. I dye my hair, and aside from rinsing it under the shower that's about all I do. Occasionally I'll wash it if it feels clogged up and dry with product, but it never gets greasy. I use vintage hair styling techniques and "set" the curls in my hair, and that'll last me 5-7 days if I don't get it wet.

A few weeks back I walked to the supermarket and bought a braeburn apple to eat on my walk back into work - I swear I groaned when I bit into that apple. That's my favourite type of apple anyway, but good gods. That was the sweetest, sharpest, crispest apple I have ever eaten.

Tentatively in for 40 miles - I did roughly that in March, but am going to be crazy busy for the next couple of weeks and aren't sure how many runs I can fit in! :O
-
No here too - I make it fit into my calories for the day, and by no means do I miss out. If I want something I'll have it, and either be careful the rest of the day or work it off later on.

Bedfordshire here, but I'm in Luton so not too far away. :)

Walking around the shops for two hours first thing this morning. This evening: 15 minute run on treadmill, 15 minute cross trainer, and 60 minute weight lifting. Running to and from the gym also.

Bedfordshire here! :)

Ha I'd love pole fitness, but that's the one thing we don't have. I did consider some sort of kickboxing or self defense class but there aren't any at a convenient time that I've seen. The less said about the classes at my gym the better, but I live in the middle of a cluster of sports and fitness centres so there's a good…

We're big fans of toasties without cheese in our house - I like fried egg and veggies with a bit of BBQ sauce or pesto. Yum. I grew up with the cheese toasties that my granddad used to make, they were amazing. I don't like melted cheese at all as an adult though, it's funny. My 4 year old? She likes me to grill onions with…

Ah thanks for the responses, interesting. :) I'll definitely try a few, but need to decide which ones. I could just fit in another gym session a week, or go for a run, but I thought it would be interesting to get out of my comfort zone as such. I love lifting, so really anything else is game. I wouldn't say that any of…

No time for gym on the days I work and my 4 year old likes to work out with me in the evenings, so I'm sticking to upper body exercises that she can do with her 0.5lb dumbbells and minimal co-ordination. ;)

"Hot Patootie" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Go for a walk or run on your break? Depends on the area you're working in though I guess, and what breaks you get. I prefer to workout before I go to work, though.

£10.99 a month for "The Gym" chain, South-East England. That includes cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, etc. A handful of classes although I haven't tried them. Nothing else, but that's all I want really! It's less than a mile from our house so I just jog there. My other half pays £18.99 for Pure Gym and…

"Cast Iron Arm" by Vince Ray and the Boneshakers One of my absolute favourites.

I get them at work when my deadlines are due, as something different to graze on without leaving my desk. I used to get them most weeks before I had my daughter (i.e. when I was working full time/on a full time wage), and she turned 4 recently, so I'm a long time customer. I've never actually been bored by them.
-
Ah how cool, that's really interesting, seeing as I'm sat here eating rehated pasta and all. ;)
-
I just jumped straight into it. I get up at 5.30-6am, and literally get into my gym gear and go. It didn't take long for me to naturally start waking at that time, which surprised me.

5'5 and 190lb, and typically wearing a UK size 18 which I believe is a US 16? I mostly find an 18 fits me fine, but occasionally need to buy a smaller or larger size in something.

Push ups, definitely! I'm significantly better than I was when I started attempting, but still can't do more than a couple. I *hides* hate rowing too, though. I really like the idea of the rowing machine at the gym, but the movement makes me feel nauseous for some reason.
