Mine is digital, but very temperamental. I live in a 2-story townhome and I can't use it upstairs because if the floor is off even a tiny little degree, it messes up the reading. I'll weigh sometimes 3 or 4 pounds difference depending on where it's sitting on the stupid floor! lol

Um.....why would this be rude? I'm sure they would be celebrating the fact that you're doing so well! You explain to them, then go do your 20 minutes. Or, you get up in the morning before they do and get your 20 minutes on the treadmill, and no one's the wiser! :)

That's a lot of weight loss really fast. I'd slow it up some - the slower it comes off, the longer it stays off. :flowerforyou:

Try nuts, peanut butter - things like that have a good chunk of calories and fat (but it's good fat) and it'll raise your calories if you're not hungry enough to eat something big.

Thank you! I needed to hear that today. No matter how small my accomplishment seem to me (and they are small right now) they are so much better than what I have been doing to date. And so much better than so many others are doing out there on a daily basis! Okay...I'm proud of myself!

I weigh myself in the morning right around the same time (after I pee, of course! every little ounce helps! LOL). I don't ever weigh myself in the evening after I've eaten all day long. :/
-
I love milk, too! Maybe you aren't getting enough calcium? Do you take a multi-vitamin or a calcium supplement? I'm sorry - I don't think I'm much help - I could easily put away a half-gallon a day, if I didn't physically restrain myself! :)

How about cardio - like aerobics? I loved my skip-it! You just took me down memory lane! lol
-
Bahahahahaha! Now THAT was funny. And sad. And true. I've said that a million times.
-
Oh, those first couple of days will open your eyes like nothing else does. I never considered myself really "big", but I at 5'3" and 135 lbs when I started was putting away 3,000-3,500 calories PER DAY. Holy cow!
-
Oh, please don't be disappointed! You'll get it, I promise! :flowerforyou:

How about this one? Me and my friend Ginger while making cookies, brownies, whatever...."The kids won't eat the broken ones and they don't really count - they're just crumbs." Do you have any idea how many "broken" cookies or brownies Gin and I consumed?!?! OMG! Ack!!!!

I used to work nights and it's hard, but I completely switched my days......I would eat breakfast at 3, lunch around 7-8pm, and then dinner around midnight-1am. A couple of snacks in between, and then the day I sleep is my "night". Maybe that will help? I hope so! But, I worked 12-hour night shifts for years, so I got used…

I'm becoming a big fan of the 24/48 hour train of thought. If you really aren't hungry, just make the calories up tomorrow. We're all going to have days when we're over on calories.....and we're all going to have days when we're under, as well. Get a good night's sleep and eat a big breakfast in the morning! :flowerforyou:

Ignore my last statement for the most part (the food part is good) - you're not eating enough! You still have tons of calories left - eat, girl!

Foods with protein and fiber make better foods to get you through the day. Are you eating lean meats, veggies, etc? Things like that will hold you over longer. I know I ate a lean cuisine today and was starving about an hour later. I do better if I'm eating carrots, sliced bell peppers, sliced chicken, etc. And don't…

Protein, fiber and water! Lots of it! You can fill up on stuff with protein and fiber. It was really hard for me the first week or two, but then I just got used to it. And I learned to eat foods that fill me more for the same or less calories. If this doesn't work, 1200 might just not be enough for you.

Yes you are. And you always will be....even when he's 16 and swears he doesn't like you very much (my oldest is 22 now)...LOL! Good for you! And he's going to get the best example growing up from YOU. That he needs to eat healthy and exercise and have a great life!

Weight loss: Freakin' awesome! Chest hair: YES! Back hair???: Um...no. :drinker:

Oh, I hope so. It's been a long yucky week and it's only day 2 on my period. I feel better than yesterday so far, but I'm not getting on the scale yet. :)

I have one on my lower back - it's a dragonfly with vines and flowers all around it. It goes from one side of my back to the other and it hurt like......woo! Especially at my sides. lol! But, I love it and would do it again in a minute! (I had it positioned pretty low, so I can wear it with any kind of pants I like and it…

I did this the other day - completely by accident, but still, I worried a little. My MFPeeps told me that it's okay if it's only one day. It's not like we need to make a habit of it or anything, but just as some days we eat too much, there are going to be days every once in a while where we don't eat enough. I think one…

Now, that's probably the nicest thing I've heard in a while! I'm glad the two of you have each other. :)

Well, I have to admit I would buy a house on the beach. But, then I'd donate to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and then (like you) I'd get a community center up and running for kids. :)

Hi. Is 0 or 1 somewhere you should be? How tall are you? I'm only asking the question because some people can pull off a size 0 or 1 and look great, but for most people that is really, really tiny. You can lose weight, but you need to do it in a healthy way. The slower you lose it, the longer it actually stays off. Good…

Woohoooooo!!! I'm doing my little happy dance for you! :flowerforyou:

Welcome, Joanie! You are going to be SO glad you did this! :flowerforyou:

1. Fill my extra freezer up with good food (I'm talking a SERIOUS grocery run - like my mom used to do when I was little with two carts overflowing - but with GOOD, HEALTHY food) 2. Put a treadmill in my house (for Real!) 3. Go see my brand new grandson in TX for the first time (he's 2 months old now)

I am so proud for you! That's awesome!!!! You go, girl - that's a huge victory! :drinker:
