  • I will not freak out I know that 1000 calories over on the week does not equal a 1 pound gain but crap a dap it's frustrating when your body holds onto water/weight/whatever:explode: 2/1 211.8 2/19 207.7 2/26 208.7:tongue: still possible to make my 5 pound goal for the month, but highly unlikely as I am in the car on my…

  • Thanks Dogmeat, actually I am doing a pretty heavy dumbell/calisthenic routine so maybe? a normal workout is about 80 push ups, 80 squats, 80 overhead presses, 80 dumbbell rows, 80 sit ups with some REALLY fast transitions and ladder work in between. • I am so sorry you are having such a tough time. We have all had our own tough times, and they completely SUCK!!!! Hot tea sounds good, maybe even add honey to it! I like the suggestions of the Veggies to cram in your face, while it doesn't fix the problem, it will certainly help in the short term. I have a herniated disc,…
  • I measure meat, fat, and dairy. Veggies and fruit I estimate (and hope I estimate low!)
  • So, if you lose 8 pounds in a month, but your bodyfat decreases by more than the 8 lbs, say you lost 10 lbs of fat, doesn't that mean that you lost fat and gained muscle? That is what happened to me last month (I do a bootcamp 5 days a week with a minimum of 500 calorie burn for each session) plus two 700 calorie burn…
  • I went to boot camp at 5:30 am 5 days a week for a year and a half and saw little change. Let's face it, it's all about the food (the exercise helps in coordination, but get the food down) Journal Journal Journal, good days:smile: and bad days.:grumble: It will help. After 1 1/2 years I lost about 5 lbs. After 6…
  • not sure about fire hydrants, but I do sit ups in boot camp every morning!
  • Its good, it has a higher protein level than the standard stuff. It is not as sweet, and usually most brands don't have artificial sweetners and stuff. The less sugar you have (and processed carbs and artificial sweetners) the less you will crave. I like fage brand! Good luck!:flowerforyou:
  • I plan my whole day out and then true it up at the end of the day. Didn't know I could take the newsfeed off, so I just did! Thanks for the tip! Don't worry if others are fibbing to themselves on their food, it will obviously catch up with them on the weigh ins! BUT as a point of reference, I actually leave a few…
