You can use other extracts! Also, there are sugar free coffee syrup flavorings you can use. I make my morning protein shake with cold coffee (or instant), almond milk, and flavorings.

Sent some friend requests! Anyone feel free to add me as well. I log in every day! Can always use some more friends.

I'm a 6 meal per day person, so no snacks? NO WAY. I would be so hangry! Some people can do strict 3 meals, but I"m not one of them.

I save a big chunk of calories for the evening. During the day I'm busier so I seem to be able to eat less then. I try to plan my night time snacks in advance--fruit, airpopped popcorn, skinny cow, etc.

You are certainly not the only one who this happens to! Congrats for trying it out! That right there is a great accomplishment! And even when you got anxious, you went back in and tried again. I think for a person with anxiety, which I have as well, that right there is a great victory. My advice is that you have already…

Many fruits and vegetables. But for treats, Breyer's Blasts Rapsberry Creamsicle. It's vanilla ice cream and raspberry sorbet mixed, 120 calories for 1/2 cup, so I can eat a cup of it for 240. I find room in my macros for that quite often! Also air popped popcorn.

I have some exercise pants that have a small zippered pocket inside the waistband. Perfect for a key and cash. If I need my phone, I have a runner's waist belt. I didn't think I'd like it, but it's so comfortable, I forget I have it on. It's called Nathan 5K runner's waist pack. Found both the pack and the pants at TJ Maxx…

Eight pounds, in my first month using MFP, which I think included at least 5 pounds of water weight!

Surprisingly, the reason it is going to fall under the ban is the added sodium. The bill restricts the sodium content of foods served, and chocolate milk happens to have enough added sodium to fall under the ban. Apparently, it was a last minute bill with unintended consequences.

I count mowing the lawn with the reel mower, and things like digging new garden beds. I wear my HRM for those. The rest I just figure is daily activity.

In for recipes, the only thing I ever make with them are tostones (fried).

Sending you a request! I log in every day. Edited to add: Anyone else can add me as well!

Managed to get in 20+ miles in between rain storms today! Although I did crash once, and landed pretty hard on a boulder. Nothing broken I don't think. And the bike is fine. I have an old steel frame Trek, good thing it's nearly indestructible!
-
I like to walk and have just starting riding my bike again. I'm 47, and have decided I need to get back in shape. I log in daily, and would like some more friends too! Feel free to add me.

If you've figured your TDEE correctly, and are logging your food and measuring your exercise burns accurately, they end up at the same place. I use TDEE - 20 because I don't exercise every day, but would rather spread the exercise calories out over the entire week.

I didn't even know you could buy bottled pesto! I grow a ton of basil every year to make some, and freeze it (without the nuts).

I don't really care if I quit nicotine or not. It's causing me zero health issues. I'm in better health than ever, and not in any danger of going back to cigarettes, as long as I have my e-cig. If getting off nicotine is important to you, for health reasons or whatever, go for it. For me it's just plain not worth it.…

I smoked for 30+ years, and have quit for over 4 years now using e-cigs. Not the convenience store kind though. You need something better. This message board is full of info! http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/ E-cigs are the best thing that ever happened to me. I had tried cold turkey, classes, gum, the patch, and…

Your weight is not THAT high that a quality bike won't be able to handle it. Try a local bike shop and see what they recommend. You may even be able to score something used, from trade-ins, or check your local paper for used ones.

I log in daily, and can always use new friends! Have lost 15 pounds so far, looking to lose another 30 (maybe 40 we'll see). Most of my exercise is biking, with a bit of walking thrown in. Add me if you like!

13.2 logged for today. Looks like 3 days of rain coming up. *sigh* I will probably dodge raindrops at least once over the weekend anyhow.
-
HRM and having my bike overhauled.

I like home made honey dijon. You can switch it up by using maple syrup, or agave, different mustards, different vinegars.

I'm 47, 5' 2", and eat at least 1700 calories per day, using TDEE - 20%. I work out 5-6 days per week. If I don't eat enough, I tank hard when exercising. If eating less works for you, that's fine, but it sure doesn't work for me!
-
Logged today's ride, 15.6 miles. Needed some energy left over for yard work. Glad to see all the new people signing up!
-
5' 2" and I eat 1800 per day. I'm 47. I bike or walk 5-6 days per week.
-
17.89 miles today! We are still in the top 100 teams!
-
I use a reel mower, 25 minutes of that was almost 200 calories using my HRM, so I am betting you are pretty close. I find the reel mower easier to manage than my old push mower!
-
Wow 68 miles! I'm just getting back into biking, and ride trails, no way could I do that! I am hoping by the end of summer to be able to do 44 miles in a day. Maybe. Once. And then collapse in a heap. *laughs*

I switched to TDEE - 20%, and not adding calories back. I found that I was less hungry on the day I work out, and more hungry the day after. And it's easier for me to eat about the same every day instead of switching it up +/- 500 or more calories per day. Works for me, but as always YMMV.
