Angelfood cake with fresh strawberries and home made whipped cream!

Chicken breast. If you catch it on sale, it's 2.99/pound. Also protein powder if you are willing to do that.

Macoun! Not sure if they are available outside New England or not, might be a regional thing...

I rode my bike on a trainer indoors this winter. It is what you make it. Put on some good music and put in the effort, you can get a good burn! Before I got a heart rate monitor, I went by the old "you can talk but not sing" as far as when I was working hard enough. Good luck!

I'm old, and short, and get similar results. But I can't possibly manage to eat that few calories long term. I exercise regularly, and found after a while that I can bump it up to 1400 (not counting exercise) and still lose 1 pound per week. These things are all estimates, and it takes some experimentation to figure out…

I understand not liking leftovers. Growing up, we never had anything leftover, so I was not used to eating them. As others have said, you get used to it eventually. I still don't like eating the same thing over again, but thankfully, freezing portions takes care of that!

You could try air popped popcorn, smoked or other flavored almonds, one ounce of Sunchips or pretzels. As long as you can keep the portions reasonable, you should be able to fit it in your macros. I love salty/crunchy stuff too, and have managed to fit it in my calorie goals. I just can't buy the binge trigger snacks…

Walking, biking, running, anything aerobic. I will wear it for gardening if I'm doing things like digging/shoveling (like planting trees, or making a new garden bed) or mowing the lawn (reel mower), but not for things like weeding/watering plants. Bascially if I'm going to work up a good sweat while I'm doing it, I will…

I just went through three weeks of no loss. As of today I'm down a pound and a half, and am on target to lose 5 pounds a month for the last three months. Just keep doing what you are doing and have patience, it's sure not a linear process!

I like the EAS Lean 15 from Walmart. About $20 per container, 100 calories, 15 grams of protein, 5 grams of fiber per serving. And it mixes really well.
-
Well the protein powder I use is already sweet-ish, enough for me. I use one cup almond milk, one cup coffee (or 1 tsp instant plus one cup water), 2 scoops protein powder (choc or vanilla), and ice.
-
I've had it too for a few years. I do various exercises for it, and ice, when it flares up. I can't run, I cycle instead, but even walking can cause it to reappear. I'm going to looking into taping my feet! Thanks for that tip ames105!

I make an iced mocha coffee drink with it. Protein powder, almond milk, instant or brewed coffee, and ice.

Make home made sauerkraut or kimchi? Doubles as a science project for the kids...

Levis 512 Perfectly Slim Jeans. They come in petite size, or in regular with short length. I found my first pair at TJ Maxx, now that I know my size I order online. I can't wait until I lose a bit more and can wear my regular jeans though! Getting there...

Fig newtons, avocado, and beans of all types.

This. I have trouble getting starting with things, but once I start, I find out it's not so bad! I have to tell myself just start, if it's too much you can stop. Once I get moving, I am fine. Also I work out at home, I got a bike trainer. That way when I can exercise whenever the mood hits me, whatever the time or the…

Cheetos/Any type of cheese puff, something about the texture Twizzlers I can deal with other types of chips and candy, and eat in moderation, but those two trip me up all the time!
-
Just enjoy it! I agree with the saying that one day of overeating didn't make me fat, therefore one day of overeating now is not going to derail me. As long as it's infrequent, just take a break!
-
Try liquids with a good amount of nutrients. Protein shake, kefir, yogurt drinks, meal replacement shakes. A lot of the time when I couldn't stand eating, I could manage to at least drink!
-
Traps baited with PB do the trick. If there are pipes in the cabinet, they could be getting in around the pipes. You can buy a can of spray foam insulation, and use that around the pipes, it might help. They can get through the tiniest spaces!

I like to cook fish pan fried with a bit of seasoned flour, in a lemon/butter/caper sauce! Yummmm, I'm actually having that for dinner.
-
I agree with taking a rest day. After a rest day is generally when I will see a loss. You need to give your body time to recover, especially in the beginning.
-
Definitely yes. Got mine on Amazon as well, for about $30. Love it!
-
I boil mine down, and then put it on a cookie sheet in the oven at low temp. It's a long process, but comes out very well.
-
Yes I can a lot as well, juice, crushed, salsa, pickled green. The other thing I did last year was tomato paste. Sort of a pain, but much easier to store! It's concentrated yum!
-
There is an entry for Home Canned Tomatoes that has no sodium content. I use that one. I canned my tomatoes last summer prior to all this logging, and so I don't know either exactly how many pounds I used! Next year I will do a better job of that.

I'm 5' 2" and "large" framed. My wrist measurement is 7"--makes it difficult sometimes to buy bracelets and watches. The lowest weight where I looked reasonably good is 125, and that's pushing it. I'm older now, so I have set my goal at 140. Once I reach that, I may try for 130, depends on how I look. I also seem to build…

I can totally sympathize! I haven't lost nearly as much as you, but have not lost ONE fraction of an inch off my belly. Just going to keep going, it's got to come off eventually. But man does it suck!
-
You may be surprised how quickly you get used to biking. When I first got my trainer, I also thought I was going to die after about 10 minutes! Now I can do an hour plus with no problems. I bumped up the time by 10 minutes each week. Good luck to you!
