Whether or not anyone labels it with the term "exercise" is irrelevant. The fact that it burns calories is what's important. Walking (fast or slow) is an excellent alternative to doing nothing.

I'm not in any groups or anything, but I just wanted to chime in and say don't worry too much about Beta. It's tough, sure, but if you pushed yourself hard through Alpha, you'll find Beta a fun, refreshing experience.

T25 includes a Nutrition Guide, not a plan. It's there to offer some basic nutrition information and recipe ideas. You're free to eat whatever you want and adapt it to your goals, though many people here would recommend you eat more than 1300 calories a day.

Today was Day 2 of my first Beta week. Speed 2.0 is incredible, and I can't wait to start using weights this week.

I just made this earlier today. Mixed it in with some spaghetti squash and grilled chicken. It was great! Though I should have only used half the batch, and next time I think I'll try adding some greek yogurt like iggyazalea suggested.

I've been doing T25 for 5 weeks now. It's not necessarily more intense than Insanity, but it really encourages you to focus on your form and specific muscle groups for 25 minutes straight -- no rest or water breaks. I recommend it.
