I count on the treadmill exercises 99.9% of the time only..I might throw in a 2 mile hike in the snow with the dog. But I try not to count that. I did that anyways before I started this exercise routine and it didn't keep the weight off. So why inflate my calorie burn now with things I already did..

Just do high intensity short workouts...Get a heart rate monitor. Get your heart rate up as high as you can a few times in a 20 minute span. They say those type of workouts are better then a workout where your heart rate is the same over a long period of time..Do that 3-5 times a week..

Never was a diet soda fan...Addicted to coke. But trying to cut down to two cans a day. I'd probably would of lost 2-3 pounds more at this point if I would stop drinking coke all together. Oh well. One of my few vices in life..

You can't give up after a week. I've only lost 7 pounds in 5 weeks..So in 15 weeks, I'll lose 21 pounds. You have to ask yourself. Where will you be in 6 months if you do nothing? I have a carnation drink with skim milk on the way to work at 6:30 am...Then at 8:45 I have a hot chocolate and a fiber bar..Then at 10:15 I eat a bowl of cereal. Half the time healthy cereal, half the times not.

I've been using my treadmill for about 5 weeks now..My first workout was a 200 calorie burn in 22 minutes. Five weeks later I'm up to 499 calories burned in 22 minutes.
