No sugar. No dairy. I heard chicken soup actually does work and is not just something people say. Also lots of fluids. My doctor told me to actually warm up my water when I'm sick so I'll take a mug of water and put it in the microwave for 80-90 seconds. It helps clear up your sinuses too!

The more you cave, the harder it will be the next time. You have taught her that if she cries, she gets what she wants. You have taught her this over and over and over again. This has gone on for a long time so it's going to be 1000x harder to break than it would have been if you only caved 1 or 2 times. Don't have them in…

I heard from a dietician that the first 12g of sugar are lactose and don't count for someone who is not diabetic. Anything more than that is added sugar though. I was told to buy plain yogurt and add my own fruit.

Thanks guys! It's not that I don't know what to make, I just like hearing other people's ideas like making a bunch of stuff on Sunday and freezing it or having a salad with leftover meat on top. I like reading these so keep them coming :)

@Nateorious teachers often have very short lunch periods and often work through their lunch. Many professions have an hour lunch and go out to eat. Also, the demands of teaching are high and you can't snack during the day like someone with an office job. You'll see as you get further along in your program.

I tend to whip together speedy meals. Feel free to look at my blog for ideas. http://freshfitnfabulous.blogspot.com/

Are you lactose intolerant? I am but it doesn't kick in until I eat LOTS of dairy. Often on diets they recommend lots of dairy.

1 hour away from a grocery store?! Wow. I live in Chicago so I have an insane number close by me. We also have Peapod (grocery delivery) and Grubhub (restaurant delivery) too. It's a dangerous place to live food wise. On the up side, there are also a lot of healthy restaurants, vegan, raw food, etc. Whatever you want- we…

I have the same schedule and I find it easy to stick within my calories if I eat clean. If I eat processed foods then it IS hard to stay within the limit. I typically eat breakfast at 5:30, snack at 9, lunch at 12, snack and 3, and dinner at 6. Feel free to add me as a friend so you can see my food log. Today I ate a lot…

I am in the same situation so I can't be of too much help however, I did hear something online today. Someone said that having too much protein and drinking too much water can cause you to not loose weight. In an effort to be healthier I was consuming more of both. I might try to reduce these a bit and see if it helps me...
