Put the egg in a pan and then fill it with as much water as you want to cover. Put it on the stove and when it starts to boil, put the lid on and turn off the heat. Let it sit 20 minutes and it will cook. Then dump out the water and swirl the egg around in the pan with the lid on to smash the shell. The shell comes right…

Same with my mom! She got skinnier than me- how embarrassing! I'm glad she's successful but it does create some healthy competition.
-
Same thing happened to me only kids asked me daily, to my face, to be mean.

You got this! Do it for yourself and your kids. You are worth it and so are they :)

10/month for cardio machines and weights. No classes or anything but the gym is clean and has a locker room with showers. I've been to more expensive ones with 3 classes going on at any given time, indoor pool, rooftop pool, steam room, sauna, and dual shower heads in the locker rooms, but I needed to save some money!

You look great and so does your husband! Great work :)

Put chicken in the crockpot with 1 pack of ranch dressing seasoning and 1 bottle of buffalo sauce. Cook and then use it to make buffalo pita pizzas, wraps, sandwiches, whatever you'd like :)

Nice work!!!!

Do what works for you and try to not worry about everything that is in the news. I am just as annoyed as you seem about all this research about dieting. One day eggs are good and the next they're bad. Try to eat clean and find what works for your body!

You look healthy and in shape!

Wear a heart rate monitor and you're good to go! Very accurate :)

I'm struggling with this too but here are things I'm doing... 1) I workout M-F in the gym before work. 2) On Saturday and Sunday I don't have to workout if I don't want to, but if I do it has to be something fun like going for a bike ride or doing something outside. Today I went on a bike ride for 10.6 miles which is 3.6…

i think the whole point of being on this site is to love and motivate others who are in the same boat you are. There should be no judging and put downs unless feedback is requested. Let's just support everyone!

Outside b/c it's nice to get used to something harder. On the treadmill you feel accomplished and then go outside to find out you can hardly run at all! I also think it's prettier outside :)

I'm a newb and I have no idea what to do or if there are schedules I can follow to get better. Today I rode my bike 10.6 miles and burned 900 cals by the time I got home :) I had a HRM on.

I really love Clean Eating, which I think you mentioned because the recipes are easy and, well... clean! I also like pinterest for new ideas. Also YouTube has a lot to offer to look for things on there :)

Just started today and had TONS of energy. I planned to wake up and go to the gym to do 30 min cardio and 10 min weights. I ended up doing 60 minutes cardio harder than I normally do and 10 min weights :) Today I love this stuff, but hope I can avoid the side effects. I plan to work my butt off to take advantage of this…

No ideas here but how did you know you had BED? I wonder if more people have that than realize it!

What about pasta with sauce and veggies? Also google depression era cooking on youtube because there is this old lady that makes super cheap meals and talks about the depression. She's very cute and funny!

THANK YOU!

I was just going to post a similar thread for educators getting ready to go back to school however, I think you are asking the same thing I wanted ideas on! Below are some ideas but I also like to make 1 pot meals in the crockpot or casserole for dinner and leftover lunches. Grandma Salad: 3 cups lettuce 1 tomato 1/2…

I saw someone else post this and I LOVED it! As a single girl I used it all week for wraps, pizzas, salads, etc. I was able to mix up what I made for dinner and it was incredible!

You could tweak this to make it fresh. It's from one of Giada's cookbooks. ½ cup olive oil 2 small onions, finely chopped 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped 2 celery stalks, finely chopped 2 carrots, peeled and finely chopped ½ teas. Sea salt ½ teas. Black pepper 2, 32 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes 2 dried bay leaves. --- 1.…

I LOVE this post! I read a lot of blogs but haven't found a ton of cooking channels on YouTube. Here is one I found that tends to be pretty healthy and also very cute! It's an old woman telling stories from the depression and cooking. Not all her food is healthy but some of it is. It's all pretty clean anyway.…

Not anymore. I'll buy real carrots :)

I feel that Dr. Roizen is the brains behind the operation and Oz is the looks/flirt! I do not think he knows much but gets fed information. Still like his books though :)
