I'm a wanna be abstainer who is struggling along as a moderator. I have realized that once I taste sugar- that's all I crave and I can't stop. I think abstaining would work best for me but it's going to be SO hard! Food are drugs- I swear!

I'm SO sick of lunch food! I'm eating leftovers lately with fruit. If anyone has some amazing salad ideas shoot them this way! I'm not good at whipping salads together that actually taste good.

Yuck! My mom used to do this when I was little and it was NASTY (sorry mom- who is also on MFP...). I'm sure there is some way to make them not soggy but in my experience, that's how they turn out. Check out my blog for other speedy ideas though. http://freshfitnfabulous.blogspot.com/

I have 1 and 2 only and I like 2 better. I don't play it much but sometimes I'll do it after a workout when I'm trying to get a few more calories. For me, it burns around 10 cals per song but you would be different I'm sure.

Well I don't think I have morning tea but... I like greek yogurt with agave, kashi cereal, and berries. I also like pb toast with a banana. The other breakfast I eat a lot is kefir with fruit. That's awesome that there is morning tea :) I want to start that in Chicago! LOL :)

Why not alternate both? I would do zumba in a class though- the dvds seem boring. If you are talking of DVDs only, I'd pick Jillian!

I don't know if you have the same thing I did, but I also had left hip pain from running. It turns out through PT that I favor the right side of my body and thus my form is a bit off when running. You wouldn't notice it unless you video tapped me from behind and played it back in slow mo. I did exercises to strength my hip…

Thanks for making it easier for her to go through this every month. It very frustrating when you're trying to lose weight and every month you gain weight for a week or two due to retaining water. I would suggest you don't make negative comments on a post related to female issues that you clearly don't deal with!

No matter what method I use, I have difficulty losing without on WW. I went on it, lost some weight and quit to do it on my own and save money. I couldn't do it. For me, I need the group support and weekly weigh in. I can list the positive and negative aspects of WW but overall it's what I know I need.

Cruise food is TOO good to diet while on the ship HOWEVER, you don't need to pig out either. Enjoy the food, sample lots of things, don't go overboard and you should only gain a few pounds that you can get off in 1-2 weeks. I've been on 3 cruises and honestly, food is a big part of the experience. Enjoy!
