I set mine as desk job (because i do have a desk job). Any additional exercise (walk, walking up the 26 floors) i do, I log it.

Don't hate water! it's very possible that it can be water plus, it seems you're weighing yourself too often. I have that problem. I weigh myself EVERYDAY and it really does fluctuate. I only log in my weight weekly though to get a better picture of my weight loss :)

The best way to really know is getting a HRM. You can always guess but you'll never really know because it will just be a "guess" After I bought my HRM, I noticed that i burn calories differently even with the same work out on different days...

ever since I started using my heart rate monitor, i add my own exercise with the calories burned. Under "Exercise" you go to "my exercise" too add your own
