  • Since hubby and I are both watching calories, he is a super smart man and did NOT buy me chocolate. Instead I got diamond earrings. His mother on the other hand made me my favorite dessert....cream puffs. Now, the kids brought home a ton of chocolate from school. But with 6 kids, they all shared with each other and now…
  • I have had 3 c sections. Therefore, I am in need of a tummy tuck. And I have great boobs, I just want them to be a little higher than they are now!
  • I gave up chocolate, sugar, white bread, anything fried, ice cream, chips, fast food, and iced coffee. I know the Diet Coke is bad for me. I will get rid of it eventually. Sheesh next they are going to say we have to quit having sex because it's gonna kill us too.
  • I used to work in a doctors office and the drug reps would bring in breakfast and lunch. It was crazy! Pastas, sweets, 4 or 5 course meals with only an occasional salad. I would pack my lunch and swear I would be good, but I always caved in. When I graduated college and quit (ok, I got divorced at the same time so this…
  • I am 5ft tall and set a goal weight for myself of 140-150. I will be happy at that weight and comfortable in my skin. sadly, I will still be "overweight" on the bmi chart. BUT it is discouraging to me when I look at all of the 5ft tall girls on here who want to be 100 pounds. It makes me feel like I have to readjust my…
  • Eyes. Then his shoes, you can tell so much about a man by the kind of shoes he wears. And I am gonna be the girl who goes there.......I notice womens butts.
  • I work out too. I experience terrible cramps (800 mg motrin 3 times a day for first 2 days). They go into my legs and I literally feel like death. Add bleeding to death into the mix and I don't want to do anything but I force myself to walk. Usually 10 minutes into the walk I feel pretty good. I will not run during that…
  • Miller lite is only 110 calories per bottle. I refuse to give it up completely.
  • Absolutely stunning! Good job!
  • She LOVES vegetables, we always joke that she could easily be a vegetarian. I have been thinking that it may be a stage before a growth spurt too. Like I said before, there is nothing "bad" to eat in the house since both my husband and I are getting healthy. We want this to trickle down to the kids so they won't face the…
  • I should note that she has never ever been a "skinny" kid. She has always had a thick middle and chubby face, and skinny stick legs.
  • Oh we have talked and talked about what she eats at school. She is getting salad for lunch almost daily. I am trying to teach her the healthier choices of what to put on top of her salads.
  • hmmm I like that, we could walk at the mall!!
  • We have a wii, she likes to play the wii fit. We are planning on getting the just dance. We generally have baseball, football or kickball games in the yard after dinner. Sadly we are buried under about 14 inches of snow right now and haven't seen our grass in 3 months! I can not wait for spring!
  • I am 5 ft and was aiming for about 150 (where I felt the best) but seeing everyone elses replies I guess that's still too fat and I should aim for alot less. Hmmmmm
  • and we do not stock the house with chips, cookies, or anything like that. (it's too tempting to us!!!)
  • I should have mentioned that we encourage all the kids (6 of them) to be very active and have extracurricular activities. She chose band!
  • even gum has 5 calories! LOL If I can make it btwn the hours of 2 until dinner, I am usually good! I have found the light string cheese (50 cal) with a piece of fruit for a total of about 150 calories. Other than that, when I eat a high protein meal it stays much longer!
  • I am a respiratory therapist
  • My son is hearing impaired. He got his first set of hearing aids when he was 9 months old. I cried like a baby when they turned them on and motioned for me to say something so I would be the first voice he heard. It was amazing.
  • I am 5'0 and think I would look sick at what the weight charts say I should weigh. I like myself with curves. I know I should aim for the 115 mark but I will be honestly happy at 140 ish.
  • My husband and I are doing the same thing. We have become very, very aware of the high calories at restaurants. If we want to go out to eat we usually will look up the restaurant and choose what we have before we go.
  • do not lose weight for your partner, do it for YOU.
  • Before MFP if I wanted to eat something and I was "dieting" I would eat it, throw the day away and consume massive calories and "start" again tomorrow. Now if I want it, I do eat it, but I have to log it and work out harder. I wanted a fast food burger. Ate it. It had 960 calories. But I ate light the rest of the day and…
  • I can gain 2-5 pounds, (which immediately comes off the next week) but mostly I see that I am starving right before I start! It's those days that I have to force myself to do extra workouts because I eat all of my calories and then some!
  • I am not set at 1200 but there are many days when that's all I eat. Yesterday with excercise I was only at 900 calories. It was so hard but I had to force myself to "snack" to bring myself up to 1200. It will get better.
  • I have heard prenatals are the best to take!
  • I have the same problem, I had 5 babies (3 c sections) and feel like my belly will never ever be small. Heck, I would even settle for not flat, just firmer and smaller.
  • I have had more success counting calories than doing ww. I lost weight with ww but I always felt like I was on a diet. Counting calories seems more of a lifestyle change and easier to maintain.
  • I generally eat some of them back but usually I "save" them for a splurge at the end of the week.
