Zuchinni tots
I stumbled upon this recipe at skinnytaste. I had to triple it (I have a large family), and I made it in large muffin tins instead of mini. Each one came to 54 calories apiece. The kids even inhaled them! Zucchini Tots Skinnytaste.com adapted from The Two Bite Club Servings: 3 Serving Size: 4 tots • Old Points: 2 pts •…

I gained 12 pounds and I kinda don't care
The reason why I gained is that I FINALLY quit smoking !!! I am getting back on track and my committment to my health is even stronger than ever. I don't expect to lose alot over the holidays, but at least my focus is where it is supposed to be! Even though I took a few steps back, I knew this was something I had to tackle…

Exercise and TOM (ladies)
I kicked up my exercise regimen last month and completely skipped my tom. This month I was prepared to be pretty much in bed for it when it came. I have always suffered from horrible cramps, into my legs, nausea from the pain etc. 800 mg Motrin made the pain "tolerable". I was told by alot of people that exercise would…

camping and calories
We are going camping with some friends next week. None of which are counting calories. We have already sat down together and planned a menu. Mon isn't a problem as that was my choice menu day and I chose grilled chicken. Now the other days include fire iron pizzas, going to an amish all you can eat fried chicken…

Weight watchers deli stuff
I just found the new weight watchers items in the deli area at walmart. Has anyone tried any of these? I bought the pasta salad which wasn't too bad but I had to add a tbsp of fat free italian dressing. I also bought the potato salad but haven't tried it yet. I see they have chicken salad and macaroni salad too.

blah days
I get severely moody, depressive and just funky at my TOM. I just want to eat, yell and cry. I feel terrible about myself. Today is one of those days. I honestly feel like the biggest ugliest loser on the planet. Blah. Tomorrow I will feel fine. But for today...I want to just lay in my bed and shut out the world. Anyone…

Shin pain
I do intervals of walking/running on the treadmill. I average 15 miles a week, three 4 mile days and two 1.5 mile days. My problem is my shins are killing me. It has become so bad that I can barely stand to do it. I bought new shoes that were specific for running. It's worse. I do not have the problem if I run outside or…

thinking about food?
I have been at this for 2 months. Down 17 pounds. But seriously think about food and what I can eat all freaking day. I wake up and think, "yum, I have a full day of calories to eat". I think about my next meal and snacks and almost count down the minutes till I can eat. When does this go away??????

feel sorry for me!
I know alot of you can relate to mother in law nightmares. Mine is different. I adore my inlaws and honestly they adore me. Yes, I am a lucky girl. My mother in law is amazing. Beautiful, funny, smart...etc. She is from France. Thick accent, the whole nine yeards. So what is my deal? She is the most amazing cook…

overweight kids
My husband brought it to my attention that my 11 yr old (12 in May) daughter is packing on pounds. She is 5 ft tall and weighs 120 pounds. She has zero desire to do anything active. (She is the only child in the house that is inactive). I don't want to say anything to her for fear of throwing her into the cycle of eating…

vitamins
Do you take a vitamin supplement? I can't decide if I need one or not. Last year I was going to the gym and was taking GNC vitamin packs. I had absurd amounts of energy, lower appetite and one of the pills "targeted belly fat". Now, I tend to believe all those changes came by because of the excercise, not the vitamins. So…
