<raises hand> I have! Back in the '90's, I lost down to the 170's and was a size 14! I couldn't remember being THAT small since GRADE SCHOOL! I was so happy with my results and so proud of my achievement. BUT, there were two people that weren't so happy and supportive: my own family. My husband began to lose interest in me…

Most importantly, don't give up. I've been struggling too with managing my diet and hypothyroid. This morning, I lost a stubborn 1 pound after 3 weeks of weight gain/plateau. Been at this for going on 5 weeks and 7 pounds seems a bit SLOW for my liking, but I guess all this weight accumulation didn't occur overnight, so it…

Thanks to everyone that offered advice. I've asked my doc for Armour Thyroid. At the time, she approved it, but it was unavailable. I have a check-up next week, so maybe I can talk to her about that again. My net calories are 1200; on days when I work out, I eat back between 1/3 and 2/3 of my work-out calories, depending…

Thanks for posting. I feel this way too most days, despite eating healthy and trying to maintain my calorie levels and workout routine. Curious to see your responses. Good luck!

One psychological tip that I find helpful is that my husband and I just started using our salad plates as opposed to dinner plates. It's amazing how seeing the plate as "FULL" can have a positive impact on appetite levels.

Successfully applied willpower should double all calorie expenditures for the day, if not the WEEK. Lifting the scale to place it in front of you for weekly weigh-ins should be counted for extra calorie burn. And, if STRESS could burn calories, I wouldn't be needing this site and the support contained within! LOL

Thank you so much for the encouragement! With all the supportive comments, I have printed off my food diary and been giving it a good scrutinizing. I've identified a few instances where I've consumed higher protein and/or higher fat. So thanks to EVERYone that has responded and/or extended friendship. You've all turned a…

I am VERY happy for those that are having success with this plan ! Keep up the good work! Unfortunately, I may be the dark cloud on the forum weigh-in today: Despite my best efforts of tracking every morsel of food entering my mouth and playing competitive racquetball for 4 days this past week, I have lost no weight and…

Thanks to everyone for the responses. Greatly appreciated. I guess I need to remind myself too that even though the scales may not show it, I do have small victories: Overall, I feel better No longer short of breath climbing more than one flight of stairs No more daily knee pain (UNLESS I overdo it on the racquetball…
