Diet sodas and the headaches that tended to accompany their consumption. :)

I'd like to join this post because I'm experiencing similar results and feel your frustration. I'm hypothyroid which adds to the challenge. I have an appointment in early June to visit an Endocrinologist to get his opinion on my hormonal levels (a co-worker had significant results after an evaluation). I was telling hubby…

I have one for today....I put on a work blouse this morning that, just a few months ago, was rather "form-fitting". I put it on today and it had PLENTY OF ROOM. So much so that my daughter even commented on how loosely it was fitting. :) (Kudos to my daughter for her kind comment. )

Thank you. That is exactly what I plan to do when I get my Endocrinologist referral. Appreciate your input. :) (There's STILL hope) :)

I'm not meaning to put a negative spin on the positive comments/feedback, but I am on Levothyroxine (for about 3-4 years now), play racquetball 4-5 times a week (700+ calorie burn at a time) and monitor my caloric intake daily to maintain 1200 calories. Occasionally, I eat my exercise calories, occasionally I leave the…

Looking forward to your replies. I'm hypothyroid too and having difficulty losing very quickly. It's coming off, but so slowly.... Have requested an Endocrinology consult from my Primary Care doc, so I'm hoping that will provide some better guidance rather than resolve myself to Levothyroxine and being fat for life.

Started 2 days ago and I'm amazed at the workout that she has managed to squeeze into 20 minutes! Count me in!

Not really "shocker" because I suspected it was "naughty", but the Asiago Ranch Chicken sandwich and fries at Wendys. I gobbled it down without blinking, plugged it into MFP and it "gobbled up" all my cals for a day without exercise at 1000 (200 cal breakfast)!!! And to be honest, I was very disappointed in the sandwich…

Remind yourself that you didn't get in the shape you are in overnight; so the weight won't come off overnight either. I've had a rather rude awakening over the past couple of times I've eaten at restaurants. Ordered what APPEARED to be a healthy choice, plugged it in to MFP and nearly FAINTED! It's no wonder that I'm…

Can't wait to be "there" with you!!!! Congratulations! :)

Made it to 220 earlier this week. Yesterday had some rugged racquetball games with the hubby, so undoubtedly I am retaining a bit of water due to the exhausting work-out. I'm at 221 for now....but I'm getting that 1st goal of BELOW 220 before this upcoming week is over!!!!

Congratulations! I'm going from 18 to 16...care to send me your "cast-offs"? LOL

Hi everyone! I didn't post my weigh-in last week, but I am proud to say I'm down 2 pounds since my last recorded weigh-in! Now weighing 222! 2 pounds to go for my 1st mini-goal!!!!

I struggle too and it was recommended that I include sodium on my diary so I could monitor it. I was amazed at how much was in my diet which, of course, can lead to water gain. Make sure you're drinking lots of water and monitor sodium and see if that might help reveal what is holding up your progress. Above all, don't…

Bump for a Steeler's Win!

I got it this past weekend and was STUNNED at how much it made me SWEAT on beginner 20 minutes!!! Definitely gets you moving! I'm not to happy with the belt though. My Wii-mote fell out of it a couple of times from all the "hip action". Maybe I was getting "in to it", just a bit more than necessary. LOL

I too am hypo. Going for my yearly check-up this week (labs this morning) to get an updated level. I've also requested to have my Cortisol levels checked due to some recent high stessors in my life which can impact weight loss. Also, going to request referral to Endo and Nutritionist to maximize my efforts for weight loss…

Bump and psyched for good meals with low cals! Woot!
-
You LOST WEIGHT and SIZE during that time? I'm sorry, but to me, THAT is amazing! I didn't even think that was POSSIBLE. Just wait until you weigh in next week! Stay on track and you should have a significant loss. :)

From size 18 to 16 and starting to notice that my bras are getting looser in GIRTH, but not CUP size. :)

After a gain last week, I'm happy to say, I lost that 2 and an additional pound! (224) Got the Wii Zumba and pleased with the intensity and SWEAT! (Did I just say I'm PLEASED with SWEAT??? LOL) Good luck everyone!
