You already know your answer as you put it in your post yourself... skip the prepared foods... lean cuisines and the like are "haha marketing" sure they're "great" pre-portioned meals but WHAM goes your sodium level from most of that stuff. You don't have time to cook all the time but what about taking a couple hours one…

my home > check in > edit previous entries edit IE you can make changes to the numbers shown

Tools > Tickers > update weight data (3 fields... start...current... goal) see also my home > check in > edit previous entries you can enter new weigh ins prior to joining MFP there. The ticker and badge are "dumb tools" they only use your starting weight (first weight recorded by calendar date) from your history and your…

You edited your post to say you wanted "more" calories.. which is fine, I told you in the first response how to get more...Pick 0.5 lbs a week as your weight loss goal... Not sure why you'd expect 2lbs a week to give you more calories to eat than 1lb a week loss since it's another 500 calorie a day deficit to achieve 2lbs…
-
since MFP will never give you a goal under 1200 calories you're "close enough" to your goal weight that 1 lb per week is the highest setting you have that will "project" you to lose the weight you set. 1.5 lbs would also show 1.3 lbs projected loss. you could get more calories by changing activity level or choosing 0.5lbs…

Yeah people can have strange disconnects with things... like ' oh I hate monsanto'... but the first thing they reach for at the sight of a bug / unwanted plant ? Round-up..... Or just last weekend while planting the garden getting the straw off the strawberries... "the neighbour was in and picked up his hives... good…

Got a model that you want in mind or seeking what's available? If you DO have a model available check out some online reviews of the product... if they have tech support / customer service how do they deal with problems etc? Not quite the same as here but if I were considering something like a Fitbit I'd check out their…
-
First and only suggestion. Check out the tech support forums here and at fit bit themselves. See what kinds of issues users are having and how each side supports the users. Then decide. I'd do the same for any tech device ie if I DO end up deciding to buy an e-reader it will be based on how user issues are handled partly.

Hmmm I tend to park far from the door so I can usually get back to my car without a lot of people around but as often as not I'll come back from parking "solo" and be surrounded.... I like playing with the "space hawks" though.... oooh you're waiting for that perfect spot... excuse me while I walk up to this car 5 spots…

Unrealistic expectations... they get "mad" at themselves for "only" losing 4 lbs or whatever in a week. I'd love to see a pound or two a week... I'm not able to go be supervised like them setting "life" aside to dedicate to fitness for 4 months straight... It's a competition though so when they don't lose they aren't doing…

It was meant as Exercise > cardio > add exercise > search strength training plug in your time to get a calorioe burn estimate not that literally... exercise >cardio and under that is strength training that part IS where you track reps, sets and weight progress over time.

yes you CAN find the bullet really cheap, check out yardsales, sometimes you;ll get new in box ones when couples got married or house warming gifts and got duplicates they never got around to using, I still watch for older blender bases though, always having a standard mason jar lid so I can check that the base will work…
-
I have 3 magic bullets... as they were super convenient with making `just`what you wanted but I found myself an ``old```blender that the base comes off the pitcher and screws straight onto mason jars... even better than the bullet... mix whatever I want in a mason jar appropriately sized for what I`m doing... small 250mL…

Check your ingredients list again, the whey used in it may be "100% whey" but you did say you had vanilla flavoured, which means there's more than just the whey in there, the scoop you're using isn't "100% whey" in that case, though the whey portion could well be. Always pays to check your labels, such as the protein drink…

I'm always looking at yard-sales for the older blenders when they "still" had the standard removable base that would fit only mason jars, I use mason jars on these blender bases just like the bullet for personal shakes / mixes etc, and they are generally over engineered so last about forever :)

vitamins and minerals are "targets" for the day regardless of calorie intake are they not? vit A C D K etc have targets separate from the calories.
-
I use both, pretty much interchangeably... protein boost to pancakes or smoothies... or mashed potatoes etc.. for one being better... allergy wise hemp could be better than dairy, those with tree nut allergies should be able to use hemp without problem and it doesn't have all the hormone like things that soy does... so…

For one time purchases with the odd "internet vendor" that I don't have a "relationship" with, the pre-paid gift cards are a small price for the peace of mind, the most they can get if it's a scam is the amount you bought the card for... Trouble is limits on how much the gift cards are available for as most retailers won't…

first, nice ride... second, it can certainly be hard but when you make the healthier choices while staring temptation in the face... they start to stop being a temptation... I'm looking at my lunch bag here with bananas apples.. there IS a muffin in there but it's one not the bag full of baked goods that it would have been…

Depending on your area... livestock may be out (goats, cattle etc... perhaps chickens..i) could you squeeze in rabbits... what about fish farming? can do that in 50 gallon barrels to have a few fish on hand... pair it with aqua-ponics and you've got a nice little watering system with the fish waste feeding the plants and…

maple syrup and or raspberries.

yeah it works, we're all holding out hope that they'll "go back" to how things were, people that actually needed to be there, what's this make 4 people who have quit this year? At least 4 people who had a spot that someone that truly needed it could have used. As for in general.. yup I'm about to cut the cable anyway, 20…

Probably the last season I'll watch. I felt ripped off last night, first with them bailing over a "plot twist" existing from the beginning of the series (at least the seasons I've watched) AND the entire episode was basically outright commercials with Bob showing the "features" of the vehicle, and once again they had a…
-
Didn't miss much, to even see half the episode (the "challenge") you have to go to the stations website. TV was basically an advertisement for a food company and a vehicle company besides the BS about them wanting to go home over something the show has always done.

It's a snapshot, based on your 600 calories under your calorie goal for the day that's probably "right' based on calories alone if you projected that deficit above your chosen rate of loss over 5 weeks. Doesn't mean it'll happen. But that's what the snapshot does... takes your calories and projects them over 5 weeks. If…

Seriously? .... Seriously? Something that they've done in every season that I remember watching the show for they're "walking out" on? LOL. Bah this looks like my last season watching anyway... most of the show is now one big commercial for the various sponsors, they don't even "show" the challenge you have to go to the…

I use it in my container that holds my rice and wheat after I open the bag... pests like the easy access paper / fiber bags not the plastic / glass containers. Great natural pest control, great for pool filtration etc... I haven't eaten any "purposely" but I'm sure i get some when I eat the rice / wheat and not worried…

Eat more. 1200 calories and that amount of working out is leaving you with little to fuel your body with.

baking soda and hot water seems to clean up ANY mess I've had in my crockpot. Really not a fan of the liners just because I don't know what's in them. Just a soak with warm water lifts most stuff from the pot..

Skip the aisles, produce, dairy and meat department are generally unobstructed, grab what you need and go... aisles are mostly full of processed junk anyway, though I do have to dive down one aisle to get the baking ingredients if i haven't been to the bulk store lately. The one that gets me is when the store has some…
