My general rule is, if I'm not hungry, I don't eat. If I am hungry, then I eat. I use MFP in a very general way....to log food and exercise and talk to others who are doing what I'm doing. MFP tells me quite often that I'm not eating enough calories yet my body feels satisfied so I listen to my body.
