I could totally use a "starting again" buddy. I lost 80lbs through MFP and gained 60 of it back over two years. It's depressing and I can't seem to make myself accountable anymore. I don't know what's wrong with me... it was so simple the first time.

It is but it's not healthy, or sustainable. You need to have a more realistic goal. Losing so much so fast on a 1200 calorie diet is going to leave you weak, with a ton of extra skin and quite possible malnourished. Aim for 2 lbs a week loss, maximum

Have you thought about getting a hormonal IUD? For me atleast it seems to have taken care of nearly all of my PMS symptoms. I got it inserted in January, had a rather long period in February and then haven't had anything since. I still know when I'm ovulating but as for PMS symptoms I'm pretty much 100% free of them. It…

That's actually half bad advice. Blending actually allows your body to digest the nutrients in the skins and seeds that would normally pass right through you if you were to eat it whole. If smoothies don't fill you up and you prefer to eat your calories that's fine, but telling others that they shouldn't because you lose…

Nutribullet is the way to go. I have both the Magic Bullet and the Nutribullet and the Magic bullet is a piece of junk. I use my Nutribullet for everything from making smoothies, to grinding coffee to making powdered sugar. If you can afford it, go with the Nutribullet RX. It's got huge cups and even a pitcher, and it's…

We sell something similar at my workplace. All they do is reduce water retention aka. bloating around your midsection. They aren't giving you a "detox," nor are they affecting fat in the least. It's a waste of money for an effect that drinking a lot of water will also achieve for free.

What I would do is set your MFP activity level to either "Lightly Active" or "Active" depending on how much extra exercise you do, and then just use your fitbits calorie adjustments for the daily things like steps.

Medical storage containers? Wut.

Every other time I go to the Dr I'm told my blood pressure is too high. Usually when I go to the doctor I'm sick and nervous, both of which will increase blood pressure. If it's something you're concerned about, monitor it yourself. Any pharmacy will have a blood pressure monitor. Mine is always on the low side of normal…

Fish oil capsules! They'll make you healthy from the inside out. My nails and hair have never looked so good as they have now that I'm taking them, and my joints feel better too. Look for wild fish oil if you can find it, and don't worry about omega 9's. If it has omegas 3 and 6, together they make 9 so you don't need to…

No, because unless it's wrapping around your internal organs and strangling them (which it wouldn't) muscle mass isn't typically the cause of disease and organ failure in obese people.

As far as I know (and no I haven't researched this,) no one ever died by losing a few vanity pounds. If you're worried or that concerned with a number on paper, work on trying to lose 0.5lb a week. This is a reasonable goal for someone who only has a few lbs to lose.

Most dogs do perfectly well in houses all day. Hounds do not. Especially bassets who are prone to weight gain due to over eating, so free feeding is not an option, and leaving them all day without food is not fair.
-
Hounds are by nature hunting dogs, therefore they need a "job" to be emotionally and physically well. Keeping a hound in an apartment for 10 hrs a day is a recipe for disaster. They need to be able to explore, track, sniff and run in order to be perfectly happy and healthy. None of these things are really available in an…

It should be fine. Almond milk has a pretty stable shelf life, and 2 hours out of the fridge on a brand new carton won't be enough time to really be able to grow much bacteria.

None of the icecreams I've bought have given a weight in grams, only mL. It's really really annoying because each type of icecream will have a different weight when you convert it from mL to grams, so I basically gave up and scoop one scoop into a small bowl and just eat that. :\

Silicone pans are the way to go. They are a bit floppy so I set them on a cookie sheet before popping them in the oven but nothing sticks to them and you don't need to grease them.

Some infections require different doses. I had a UTI that they gave me a single super dose antibiotic pill for, and a throat infection that they gave me several smaller dose pills for. Just depends on the severity of the infection and what the doctor sees fit.

Invest in a good ceramic non stick pan. I have one where I don't even need to add anything, pancakes just slide off.

Congrats! As someone who has alcoholism in my family, I understand how hard it is to overcome. Unfortunately a few of my family members were never able to stop and succumbed to the disease, so even though I don't know you, I am proud of you. You've taken the biggest step to having a life worth living, and that must feel…

OH! I know what you're talking about, like at costco, where it just kind of thumps around as you roll it? Designed to keep it from unrolling too much?

Age, weight and height make up for the discrepancy. Even HRM's aren't completely accurate but they're a better guess than a generic trackers on machines because they have this extra info to take into consideration. Go with your HRM.

Any vanilla flavored powder is a pretty safe bet. If you want more protein look for protein isolate, it's more concentrated and often more easily digested. Just mix it with a bit of milk before stirring it into your oatmeal. Adding it to hot water (or hot water to it) makes it curdle, but if you mix it in with something…
