“There are no magical berries from the Brazilian rainforest that cure obesity—only painfully real credit card charges and empty weight loss promises,” said Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal. “Aggressive Acai berry pitches on the Internet entice countless consumers into free trials promising weight loss,…

pfffff dumb. :noway: maple syrup does not contain all the nutrients your body will need for even one day, much less 10 or whatever. You get sodium, calcium and of course sugars. Pardon me, but where are the proteins? The iron? Vitamin A?

I'm a vegan, so I'm in the NO group. If you're interested in more than our opinions, you should do some research online! Start by looking up something neutral like "cow milk" on google and go from there. :flowerforyou:

I have tried lots of different brand names of the Pill: yasmin, tricyclen, allesse... they have different side effects on my body because the hormone level is different in each. Personally I love Yasmin because the only weight I gained was in the Bra Department! :blushing: You'll have to try a few methods to see what works…

Moderation is key! Don't deprive yourself ENTIRELY of satisfying your sweet tooth or you'll just be miserable. Have a little treat and be satisfied. I find adding cinnamon (without the sugar) helps give the impression of sweetness. Ditto for nutmeg.

I would eat a medium-sized bowl, skip the math and call it 250 cals (to be safe). Enjoy dinner!

Re: truvia/stevia “There are a lot of risks and none of the big players seem to care,” said Curtis Eckhert, professor in the environmental health sciences and molecular toxicology department at the University of California at Los Angeles. Dr. Eckhert helped prepare a report last year for the U.S.-based Center for Science…

Never tried it. I don't really even eat regular sugar. :embarassed: Truvia is actually not even available in Canada because of how few tests have been conducted on it. "Health Canada doesn't allow stevia or its extracts to be used as a food additive in this country because of insufficient evidence to support its safety. "…

Take it slow. Consciously decide to have a few higher-fat foods in the pantry like natural peanut butter. Learn to cook for yourself. Use good fats, like olive oil, nuts, avocados. Don't forget to exercise though. Some weight training will help your body regain strength and muscle mass. Take it easy and work your way up.…

any of the following might be yummy! - some acid: a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, or a squeeze of lemon juice. - add something in to amp up the texture, like chopped pistachios or sesame seeds - mince a bit of garlic (careful- deadly) - hot sauce - sauteed mushrooms or zucchini - some good mustard

Especially because whole albums are often just the 1 tempo.

Girl Talk, Animal Collective, the Yeah Yeah Yeah's, and Fatboy Slim for cardio. Tom Waits for strength training. Eric Satie, Edith Piaf, and Fog for stretching out.

The trick with preparing eggplant is getting rid of their bitter flavour. Slice them into 1/2" thick pieces and sprinkle salt on both sides. This will draw out some of the bitter moisture inside. After about 20 minutes, wash the eggplant slices and pat dry. Then use them like normal. Make baba ganoush from them: it's a…

chopped up avocado and a pinch of salt and pepper. mmm.

Kale is one of my favourites! And it is so healthy for you. Some people find the stem that runs down the center to be tough- you can cut it out of the leaf if you're one of them. Also since it's a really tough cruciferous veg, some people have issues with eating it raw. Up to you! Wash it, roughly chop the leaves, and…

Ugh I can only imagine. Butter, potatoes, cream, cheese, fatty stock and salt. Be happy that you checked!!!

Vegetarian dishes. Look for tomato-based curries instead of coconut milk based. Choose rice instead of the fried naan or puri breads.
