I see very little protein and 0 veggies. Include some beans, lentils, and whole grains. If you're not a fan of them as a main or side, put them in a soup. Veggies like broccoli, spinach, bell peppers, tomatoes, carrots, radishes, sweet potatoes, cabbage.... you get the idea. It doesn't look like cook often... Find a…

:blushing: They could call it "Horizontal Tango - medium" or something. Ahaha.

I'm currently using my most "heavy duty" regular bra with a swimsuit tied over top and it's only barely helping. First ever sports bra purchase will probably be in my very near future.

You are so welcome! I am actually just having a quesadilla with daiya RIGHT NOW. I'm so glad you like it, too. :flowerforyou:

Yummm. Mix it in with smoothies, put it on celery sticks with a few raisins, on toast, or just on a spooooooon.

Mix two tbsp ground flax seeds and 6 tbsp water for an egg substitute while baking. Super good.

I wrote out this recipe for another MFP user the other day: Corn and potato chowder Ingredients: 1 tbsp vegetable oil 1/2 medium white onion, diced 1 leek (white & tender light green parts, chopped) make sure the leek is ferociously cleaned of grit 2 cloves of garlic, minced 2 stalks of celery, diced 1 tsp cumin powder 1/2…

You're bang-on. Companies overcompensate on the sodium when eliminating the fat, because it's a cheap way to make things taste good. I'm with everybody else. Add a couple of homemade soup recipes to your arsenal and you're set. Freeze in batches or portion 'em out in the fridge and you're golden. It's pretty much just as…

Yum. I have some in my freezer right now, waiting for the perfect dish. Some ideas I have in store for it: - add to soup or curry - put in lasagna - turn it into pesto - put it in my smoothies (I know, sounds yuck... but it's hardly noticeable, apart from the colour) - add it to pasta sauce

I eat pretty much everything after 9, but I don't go to bed before 3 am so my schedule's a bit messed up :)

I would probably do what you are doing- that is, don't log work time as exercise and have my setting at "lightly active". If you find in a few weeks that you're seriously hungry and dropping weight too fast, or that you're not losing, you may have to readjust.

*whistles* hot mama!! Congratulations on your hard work. You look awesome.
-
Just what I was going to suggest! It's delicious.

Stock up on healthy foods that expire- like fruits and vegetables. That way, eating out is not only a waste of calories, but you'll also feel bad because all that food in your fridge will be going to waste! Makes much more sense to go home and put that produce to work :flowerforyou:
-
Awe man, that sucks. Have some hot broth and don't deny your body healthy, filling foods. Rest up and feel better soon.
-
oh wow  that sounds awesome.

whoah that's a lot of oatmeal. Unless you put brown sugar, cream, butter, apples, bacon, raisins, jam, and maple syrup in it, too. Then maybe the cal count is OK.

fat, carbs, protein, iron, and sodium. As a vegan who loves salty foods I figured they were the most important!

Not only an amazing difference in size, but you also look way more confident. :flowerforyou: Congratulations on your hard work! It's paying off!!!

As a vegan, I enjoy sushi regularly and I don't eat any fish at all! Most restaurants have a delicious variety of vegetarian rolls to choose from. Avocado rolls are a mainstay of course. Miso soup is very mild and really tasty- it's made from soy bean paste and usually has a bit of tofu and seaweed mixed in. Edamame is…

everybody wants to be inspired, y'know??? Click on the meal name for a recipe, btw.

soy milk (Silk) coffee beans lemons tofu kale rice olives onions garlic ginger it looks a bit boring, but those are the essentials! All the other fruits and vegetables usually come and go with the seasons.

make a hot and sour soup: Include tofu, bamboo shoots, black mushrooms, rice vinegar, sesame oil, green onions, and hot chilis! Guaranteed to make you sweat.
