I was 250# when I had child #2. I was once over 300# so I wanted to encourage you. You can do this!! Keep trying and exercise as you can. I started very slow at first! Maybe 15-20 minutes at a time. Now I do 60+ minutes with almost no problems but that took time. Good LUCK!!!

I like that you are using body fat % not just BMI. I am re-thinking the BMI chart because if you have muscle you will weigh more. I might just get my body fat % measured and go with that one!

I prefer calorie counting. Why spend the $ when you can do it yourself. Unless you need the meetings. Which would be great I admit. I did WW and I do better on my own. This is a great question!!! I used the BMI Chart and my doctor. She said that I should aim for 155-165 for my frame. (she even said 175 would be healthy) The BMI charts are not perfect though.
