I'd say leave some cookies. Say if you have a fresh pack of oreos, half them and give the rest to a friend. That way you can portion control the amount you have even more.

I plan snacks also. I have a bag of almonds in my backpack and snack on those when necessary. Fruit, cheese sticks--etc. Just search the web for other examples of healthy snacks. You may even come across a recipe for healthy cookies.

Focus on why you're binging. Sometimes I'm chowing down on chocolate because I'm stressed out about classes. I'll get up, remove the chocolate from near me and instead replace that spot with a big glass of water. Whenever I get the urge to want some chocolate for my stress binge, I try to break off a little bit and nibble…
